OK, share things that "everyone RAVES about" but when you tried it/went there/ate it etc it left you properly underwhelmed and you've almost ashamed to admit it. Don't need to give details or reasons, just name THE THING
I'll start........

Bless him 😒

DagenhamRoundhouse · 15/10/2017 19:33

Ed Sheeran at Glasto. Every song sounded the same. And a white, chubby, ginger, young, white male trying to rap is just embarrassing.

LapdanceShoeshine · 15/10/2017 19:33

All those (clearly quite young Grin) who view the Beatles as an overrated boy band - you should try listening to any Pick of the Pops pre late 1962. With a handful of exceptions (e.g. Roy Orbison, Ben E King) the top 20 was dire - all cheesy ballads, instrumentals & novelty songs, & often more than one version of the same song/tune Shock

& then Love Me Do landed, in Oct 62, & the world turned.

You have no idea Grin

comeandsitonthecarpet · 15/10/2017 19:49

areyoulocal spot on - flavoured ciders? it's made of bloody apples - find another drink !...

CoffeeMilkNoSugar · 15/10/2017 19:49

Beyonce - far too shrill, hurts my poor ears.

Adele - a very limited range, poor technique, often shouts instead of singing. Meh.

Gin/Prosecco/'Mum Juice' - alcoholism isn't cute or cool. No, seriously, it isn't.

Lindybop-type dresses.

Breaking Bad - BORRRRIIIINGGG.

Mermaid/Unicorn anything. Especially on grown women.

Jo Malone - sells lifestyle really, and the products aren't really that good. Unremarkable at best.

X Factor, with the mandatory sob stories with piano music in the background.

Marilyn Monroe. Enlighten me - what exactly made her so 'amazing' and 'inspirational'?

KichenDancefloor · 15/10/2017 19:50

Yes to Whitstable - mentioned twice

There are so many great beaches / walks / culture / shopping in Kent but all Londoners head for over-priced, over-hyped, over-crowded up-it's-own-arse Whitstable. I shan't be saying where the real gems are in case they go the same way.

I don't get:

  • Shopping as a hobby
  • Baking as a hobby
  • macaroons / cupcakes / cronuts / latest baking fads
  • Adult colouring books
  • Lush (makes me wheezy just walking past)
