To ask how do I stop spiders crawling over my face?

I woke last night to feel something crawling on my face. I grabbed it and threw it, I actually heard it make a noise as is it hit the wall so I knew it must be big. I turned the light on to find a huge spider half dead on the floor, it was huge 😭😭

Since spider season has been about I've had loads of these huge spiders in my room and last night was the last straw. I'm petrified of them and this is the first year I've had such a problem in the house

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some ideas as to how I can keep them out of my bedroom atleast!!

Conkers, I swear. I have a bowl in the kitchen and get no spiders in there.

I'm absolutely fine with cellar spiders as they tend to stay on the ceiling, it's just the house spiders I cannot deal with. The thought of them in the bed is hideous. My DH had a bite on his arm and he swears it's from the spider in the bed last night lol!

House spiders dont bite. They are well known to be docile and non aggressive even if picked up. They much prefer to escape.

Whoever said about cellar spiders, thats quite true, they often eat house spiders. Theyre really good predators of other spiders and insects. Moreso than tegenerias tbh

My advice would be to make sure that your skirting boards and windows are well sealed as well as having a good sweep under the bed etc as others have said.

I once woke up in the middle of the night to have a drink, lifted my glass of water but for some reason something stopped me. Turned the light on and there was a massive spider floating on the top of my water !! I drink from a bottle in the night if I have too now !!
