What are your thoughts? Bit of a twat or perhaps very intelligent but also misguided in terms of his career and misunderstood? I'm on the fence tbh.

Like others I simply can't get passed his record, WMD, Dr Kelly and see him as self serving twat war criminal enabler type
Intellectual? Dodgy tossier more like.

Never met him in real life, but he comes across as sanctimonious and sneering in interviews. Charming isn't the word I would have used to describe him. He was also complicit in the dodgy dossier, and we are still feeling the effects of it.

I'm glad he's speaking out about mental health, though.

I've always loved him. My mum loves him, too .

He often says what I think on a range of issues, and I admire his honesty about his mental health issues.

I would never have wished to work with him or meet him, but think he should be applauded for talking about his past mental health issues.

I recently watched an old episode of Top Gear where Jeremy Clarkson interviewed him. It must have been filmed at the start of the coalition. I'm certainly not a fan of JC but i found myself on his side, i think because he doesn't try to pretend he isn't somewhat of a twat, whereas AC genuinely believes he is 100% in the right.

Anyone seen that recent interview with him and Owen Jones? Owen Jones is interviewing AC, and it's really interesting - AC acts like Tony Blair's gatekeeper (as fiercely loyal as you'd expect), while Owen Jones absolutely flat-out refuses to endorse Tony Blair and gets really petulant whenever AC tries to defend him.
