Just curious. The funniest one I've ever seen was a production of Midsummer Night's Dream in London. Can't even remember who did it! I remember laughing so hard though!

One Man, Two Guvnors was very funny - I didn't see the original run with James Corden, though.

I also laughed a lot at The History Boys - and I did see the original run with James Corden.

Noises off is also very funny. Can't remember what else I've seen...

Another vote for Book of Mormon - my ribs hurt for some time afterwards from laughing

OlennasWimple · 06/10/2017 14:47

Another vote for Noises Off - I love farce

Elledouble · 06/10/2017 14:48

Noises Off. I've seen it three times and I cry laughing every time.

Avenue Q (not technically a play) was incredibly funny too.

TickedOff · 06/10/2017 14:50

Avenue Q, watched it when dp & I went to London for a weekend away, absolutely brilliant and incredibly funny.

DaysofWineandNeurosis · 06/10/2017 15:02

Book of Mormon was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen.
Avenue Q, Noises Off and The Play that went Wrong were also very funny.
Honerable mention goes to Having a Ball. We were a little drunk and full frontal nudity and vasectomy humour is always good.

Another vote for Noises Off. I'm relatively sure I pulled a muscle laughing at that one. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

ZoniSouslaLune · 06/10/2017 15:10

Cash on Delivery - student production. It was incredible.

ZaraW · 06/10/2017 15:15

Another vote for Book of Mormon totally outrageous I loved it.

FindTheLightSwitchDarren · 06/10/2017 15:16

Jerry Springer Opera

FairyDogMother11 · 06/10/2017 15:16

The Book of Mormon, seen it twice and laughed so much my stomach hurt both times!

5rivers7hills · 06/10/2017 16:04

Book of mormon.

Best play ever!

5rivers7hills · 06/10/2017 16:05

Also I can't remember what the play was called but there was a scene where a woman does burlesque horse... was hilarious

manglethedangle · 06/10/2017 16:08

What the toad knew. However it was funny for all the wrong reasons!

Paperdolly · 06/10/2017 16:11

Any '.....goes wrong' play is excellent!! The cast are amazing because they make each performance seem like it's the first time they've shown it to anyone and they don't spoil it by laughing at their own comedy. I hope they do a new one soon.

SecretFreebirther · 06/10/2017 16:23

Absolutely The Book of Mormon!

Clawdy · 06/10/2017 16:34

Ayckbourn's The Norman Conquests. Especially Table Manners. Hilarious.

HazelBite · 06/10/2017 16:38

One Man two Guvnors, saw it with James Corden - he was brilliant!

babybubblescomingsoon · 06/10/2017 16:42

One man two governors with James Corden. I laughed the whole way through.

MrsFezziwig · 06/10/2017 16:43

Yes, The Play that Goes Wrong (which you feel you shouldn't like because it is so silly, but it is actually hilarious) and Avenue Q (ditto, because puppets)

eeyore2 · 06/10/2017 16:48

Noises Off - hilarious (but silly)

Pinky333777 · 06/10/2017 16:48

The book of Mormon
Or
Betty Blue eyes.
Both warranted several visits 😀

Gingernaut · 06/10/2017 16:49

Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Play That Goes Wrong. Pay a bit extra and the spoof programmes continue the joke.

The orginal Play was hysterical and included some technically brilliant stuntd and the Wrong Peter Pan had some funny and quite dangerous looking stunts as well.

Gingernaut · 06/10/2017 16:53

Noises Off was funny (I saw it with Sylvester McCoy), but I preferred the film starring Michael Caine, Christopher Reeves, Carol Burnett, Denholm Elliott, John Ritter and Marilu Henner. I nearly wet myself.....Blush
