To ask what's your favourite horror movie scene ever?

In celebration of Halloween!

Mine is this one from Poltergeist II. What makes it more upsetting is that Julian Beck who played Henry Kane was suffering from stomach cancer during filming.

Kokeshi yes that scene is so eerie! When the woman screams as Roseemary walks in. It felt like a bad dream. Terrified me, I couldn’t sleep for days after watching that.

The Grudge when she's going up in the lift and the little boy is on every floor.

One of the last scenes in The Grudge (US version) where the thing creeps slowly all the way down the stairs. All cracking joints, staring eyes and weird movements, excellent!

I'm hardcore and don't scare easily at all - I love a good supernatural scare, always looking for a good horror but most are lame.

Woman in Black was pretty good...and the Babadook. Not that interested in gore films and torture porn - actually torture films are really uncomfortable.
