it's hard to work out the probabilities and apply them to yourself. if you have 'unexplained infertility' and you respond fine to all the drugs, sperm are fine, you make eggs and embryos, but then don't get pregnant, (implantation failure) the stats broadly show it is worth doing 3-4 rounds before giving up. After 4 rounds, it is likely that you are in the small percentage for whom it doesn't work.
However it's not that simple as saying "do 3"!
First, you may have other reasons (endo, male factor, etc etc). I would recommend looking at the live birth statistics for the best clinics for people with your specific problem or the closest you can get. There is a lot of noise in the system, for instance outdated stats can be less valid as techniques have improved in last few years. Your age makes a difference - 33 is young but it depends again on why you're doing Ivf.
Second, after your first cycle, if it fails, you might be able to try other things e.g. medicine helping with blood clotting, uterine scratches, killer call therapies etc. You will find that there is always something to tweak in the protocol so you'll have to make a call each time as to whether that is likely to make a difference. So that will affect your appetite for trying again and again.
Finally, even if you work out all the state and find out that only 0.05% of women don't get pregnant within 6 cycles, or whatever, you don't know if YOU are one of them or not.
I guess tl;dr - you should research to get a realistic sense of your chances before you bet the farm on it. But you also need to keep positive - the first cycle totally could be the one for you. and I hope it is xx
