It does look like a (undercooked) Yorkshire pudding

MrsGotobed · 03/10/2017 18:17

The Daily Mirror had a story recently where someone posted their scan on fb and it was mistaken for a lasagne

I'm PMSL at the "That lasagne looks crisp" ..."That's my daughter"

HyacinthBooquet · 03/10/2017 18:18

I can genuinely see Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, cabbage and gravy

I thought the thread was a joke and that the OP was upset because her friend didn't say the baby looked like a full roast dinner. Blush

NameChangeFamousFolk · 03/10/2017 18:19

The picture is a bit Aunt Bessie 's, OP

I actually laughed out loud.

Soubriquet · 03/10/2017 18:20

I can see the gravy pouring off it

Want a roast dinner now

PeppaPigTastesLikeBacon · 03/10/2017 18:20

There's a baby in that picture Confused
How far along are you? It's can't be far!

3D scans are horrendous. Babies rarely look good in them

Lweji · 03/10/2017 18:21

I cannot believe a sonographer would give a photo like that as from a baby.

This would be the first scan I don't see a baby on, and I was able to follow every bit of my 20 week scan, down to spotting it was a boy.

If you want decent comments, post decent photos.

RebelRogue · 03/10/2017 18:22

Lasagne baby is more babylike than yorkie baby.?

Now that's a sentence i never thought I'd write.

FakePlasticTeaLeaves · 03/10/2017 18:22

You should name your baby aptly: Bessie, Yorkie, Batter, Toadie, Roastie, Tesco's Own Label. Lots to chose from.

Mummyoflittledragon · 03/10/2017 18:22

If you cropped the photo how the hell are we able to understand what we are looking at? As for cutting off the identifying bits, I'm lost for words. It's a growing baby not the official secrets act. I do think your hormones are getting the better of you.

yorkhapuddn · 03/10/2017 18:23

RoryItsSnowing · 03/10/2017 18:23

Haha yes I can see it. Yorkshires are delicious! Better than just looking like a blob.

yorkhapuddn · 03/10/2017 18:23

But Yorkshire puddings are nice. It's a compliment.

Soubriquet · 03/10/2017 18:24

Jeez that's blurry as fuck

DearMrDilkington · 03/10/2017 18:24

How far along are you?

Weebo · 03/10/2017 18:24
FuzzyCustard · 03/10/2017 18:25

Better than looking like broccoli, I reckon.

RhodaBorrocks · 03/10/2017 18:25

A friend once commented that my 2 week old looked like a baby orangutan.

To be fair, he did. And they're bloody adorable, so I laughed, thanked her, agreed and called him that as yet another nickname.

He also went through stages of looking like a gnome, troll and my late Grandfather. And I took photos of it all. He gets a good giggle out of his 'weird' baby pics now (he's 10).

yorkhapuddn · 03/10/2017 18:26

Can't believe in one day baby has been called Yorkshire pudding and a tooth. Apparently people used to be nice to pregnant women.

OP posts:
RebelRogue · 03/10/2017 18:26

Still not a baby

SchadenfreudePersonified · 03/10/2017 18:26

TheCountessofFitzdotterel

Grin LOL!

ElephantAndBird · 03/10/2017 18:27

I still can't understand what I'm seeing. Is that a human foetus? What body part is it?

Lweji · 03/10/2017 18:27

Now I see the baby!

Sort of. It's incredibly blurry. How can anyone tell it's a boy?
Because it looks like I has little appendages on it's head too.

ReasonableLlama · 03/10/2017 18:28

Sometimes I send DH pics of what I fancy for dinner hoping he will take the hint and make it.

Is it possible your sonographer has done this but switched and her DH now thinks she's broody?
