Which bit of your baby is that meant to be? I’m struggling to make out a baby from the picture you posted.

BurnTheBlackSuit · 03/10/2017 17:40

I want toad in the hole now

Careful! That's how you end up with a Yorkshire pud in the oven.

Grin 😂
Fannylodger · 03/10/2017 17:40

What's been ruined?
Your scan?
His first baby?
A Facebook post?

Don't be so fucking ridiculous. It's a scan. I freely admit my dd looked like a potato in utero. Most babies do.

DailyMailReadersAreThick · 03/10/2017 17:40

It was on DPS Facebook. It's his first. So very special and we felt like it was ruined.

Have you explained that it's actually quite difficult to produce a nicely risen Yorkshire pudding, so he should take it as a compliment?

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 03/10/2017 17:40

The title really made me chuckle!

Foetuses are not attractive let’s face it

Izzabellasasperella · 03/10/2017 17:41

You put your scan photo on Facebook? Of course you were going to get silly comments. I think Yorkshire pudding is quite nice actually.

TwitterQueen1 · 03/10/2017 17:41

Can't take this seriously - it's giving me a good laugh though! that's a weird photo/scan - I'd take Yorkshire as a compliment Grin

Assuming you're actually being serious, what do you want people to say?

Gileswithachainsaw · 03/10/2017 17:41

Kinda looks like an axolotle...

Mine barely even looked human...

Santawontbelong · 03/10/2017 17:41

Op may I suggest you try to toughen up.
The early days will bring comments you need to be prepared for. .
Your baby will tick one /more of these boxes. .
Chubby
Scrawny
Really long
Really tiny
Fat cheeks
Bald
Hairy
Loud
Quiet
Looks like df
Looks like a relative you don't like
Sleeps too much
Sleeps too little
Pukes too much
Shits loads
The list is endless.
Enjoy your Pud and stop stressing - the Pud needs to rise now!!

yorkhapuddn · 03/10/2017 17:42

Congratulations not ru having a roast dinner mate

reetgood · 03/10/2017 17:42

This has really made me laugh. Sorry. I can't make head or tail of that picture.

My 12 week scan pic looked like a snowstorm. The sonographer tried her best once she'd done the check. I bought a copy as it was so terrible and it made me laugh :)

SandunesAndRainclouds · 03/10/2017 17:42

Yorkshires don't go with spaghetti bolognese do they?

KittysMyName · 03/10/2017 17:43

My baby is 3 months old and looks like a Yorkshire pudding. Delicious! I tell her I'm going to eat her up everyday and give her big kisses.

Seriously though OP I'm sure you're friend didn't mean to offend. As others have said, all scans look a little odd, but they all turn into beautiful puddings, sorry babies Smile

shortcake76 · 03/10/2017 17:43

I think you're being too emotional - it was a joke! See the funny side and get a grip.

DearMrDilkington · 03/10/2017 17:43

So your friend commented "ru having a roast dinner mate" on the scan photo?

GreenTulips · 03/10/2017 17:43

Mine look like a puppy!

Get over it

MyBrilliantDisguise · 03/10/2017 17:43

OK I'll say it - that is not a scan!

angelsgirls · 03/10/2017 17:44

Can't figure out what that picture is even meant to be Hmm

yorkhapuddn · 03/10/2017 17:44

Yes obviously we said wat do you mean they said it looks like a Yorkshire pudding mate lol

OP posts:
Merryhobnobs · 03/10/2017 17:45

My sister said our scan photo looked like chicken wings. I wasn't offended. It was amusing. She adores her niece now she is here!

Vitalogy · 03/10/2017 17:45

I love a nice yorkie.

speakout · 03/10/2017 17:45

That's quite funny.

My DD looked like Yoda from Star Wars- we started calling her that- even a few weeks after she was born.
We stopped because we didn't want the nickname to stick.

DearMrDilkington · 03/10/2017 17:45

brilliant thank god someone has said it!

LastNightMyWifeHooveredMyHead · 03/10/2017 17:45

I think that's a pretty brilliant comment, actually I am not on FB

ElephantAndBird · 03/10/2017 17:46

Is that a scan of a foetus? I freely admit I was absolutely rubbish at understanding what I was looking at when pg with dd, but there's not anything in that picture which I can identify as human. What body part is it of?
