Why does this feel so wrong?

AIBU to serve sweetcorn with sausage and mash? My 3yr old dd has suddenly decided that peas are the work of the devil and I'm making mini toad in the hole castles (individual yorkies filled with mash and sausages covered in gravy and peas. Usually). My head says serve sweetcorn instead of peas but my heart says it's really wrong. Thoughts, oh wise ones?

Provided that you then include some veg on the side it should be fine.

wauden if you came round now you'd find utter carnage... The 3yr old just threw a birthday party for my dh. There are party pizzas, balloons and pass the parcel wrappers all over the floor...

shouting I know, isn't it?! It's a totally made up hatred as well...

The bit I hated about children's developing tastes was when they LOVED something healthy e.g. broccoli, and demanded it at almost every meal, and then, the day I'd filled the freezer with the stuff, decided they'd gone off it!

And oh god the fads. All DS had wanted until recently is bagels. Now it's pasta. He pretty much lived off avocado for a fortnight once.

Sweetcorn, Yorkshire puddings, mash, sausages and gravy is a favourite with my dcs.

Beans with Yorkshire puddings is an abomination. Sausage, mash and beans is another favourite but never with Yorkshire puddings.
