To think the swimming pool is for swimming not bloody jogging?

Went for a swim in the slow lane. Fairly quiet yo start with but got busier, that's probably relevant. There's a couple jogging round the deep end. So starting halfway along the pool, going round the top then crossing over the lane to fo it all over again.

It is the slow lane, but they were very slow. And I had to swim round them and wait for them to cross the pool when I met them in the middle. And every few laps they stopped by the side halfway up for a chat. Last week, I've not been in a while.

It got busier and they continued jogging.

Aibu? I'm normally fairly live and let live, but is this a new thing and I'm missing something?

I do my hydrotherapy exercises in the pool. Would be pointless the nhs funding them if i didn't keep it up.

Thesnork - try pilates, from a proper pilates studio not cheapy in gym class. Pilates stusios often have rehab classes/back care classes and will taylor exercises to your needs.

I have eds & dyspraxia and was in a wheelchair several times. Rehab pilates and hypdrotherapy meant i was able to work back up to being mobile and now can safely use the gym and know how to adapt msny exercises safely.
