To think i look like a weird freak of nature in photos

I dont get it. I really like the way i look in the mirror and in videos too.

But ive just taken some passport photos and i look like an absolute freak. My eyes look like an axe murder, my bone structure has completely melted away so i look like my face is just a slab and my face appears to be totally lopsided.

How is it possible to go from video goddess (JOKE) to still photo monster?

And does anyone else blink? Because my face knows it's not supposed to blink, it blinks in anticipation of the pic being taken.

I think this too. My face looks gaunt and lopsided in photos in a way it doesn't in the mirror.

Haha a troll with constipation. I look as though I shouldn't be allowed out without a minder.

I hate having my photo taken for this reason, I don't feel bad about my face when I look in a reflection, but in photos I always seem to look like a particularly chubby toddler with a wonky eye. I think selfie culture has made me feel worse to be honest, because everyone 'knows their angles' for photos and can make themselves look better than in real life. I can't take a selfie without feeling like a total plonker.

It's a shame because my teens and now twenties are probably the best I will ever look and I have barely any pictures, I only have two pictures of me when pregnant (and I look awful) because I felt so rotten and was too ill with HG to be bothered to take any nice ones.
