What happened to the after you finished breastfeeding?
Did they go up, down a size, get perkier or sag down to your knees?
Just curious as to whether I should bother keeping all my old bras in case I shrink back to my normal size or go and buy bigger ones now i have boobs the size of bloody footballs. I'm living in maternity bras at the moment

Pre-DC1 - very perky 34C.

Post DC1 and breastfeeding - slightly saggier 34D with stretchmarks.

No change after DC2 (didn't get any worse at least Grin).

Youngest is 9 yrs old now and they're pretty much the same as they were post my 2nd child.

Stellato · 24/09/2017 18:39

Mine are about the same size as pre-two-pregnancies, but quite a different shape. My pre-pregnancy bras fit but not very well.

PickAChew · 24/09/2017 18:40

I was already saggy in the first place, but they got bigger and more pendulous with each one.

Tealdeal747 · 24/09/2017 18:40

I didn't notice a difference!

daydream86 · 24/09/2017 18:43

During pregnancy went up maybe a cup size, then went enormous E? EE? when I EBF 2 weeks and then part time Bf another 2 weeks. returned to lre preggy size pretty swiftly. was a D cup before and although haven't been measured I still fit perfectly in my old bras now. slightly less full then pre pregnancy but I don't mind I think they're still pretty good boobs Grin

DarthLipgloss · 24/09/2017 18:43

I've gone up a full cup size with each one. Am 34G after bf four of them and quite perky for 46yr old, don't know if this is due to hypermobility syndrome tho

DownstairsMixUp · 24/09/2017 18:43

Big before breast feeding and one size up. I haven't noticed much sagging but because I've always been big boobs I've always made sure I have good fitting bras and even wear non wired ones to bed so not sure if that's helped with the sagging issue

ballroompink · 24/09/2017 18:44

Pre-DCs: C cup, perky
Pregnant with DS1: D cup
Bf DS1 for 18 months: ranged from E back down to D by the end
After finishing bf: D but with no volume on top, pretty flat looking despite the volume at the bottom, still perky though
Currently 35 weeks with DS2 and they have increased back up to a proper full D cup during pregnancy. Wish they would stay that way!

IrritatedUser1960 · 24/09/2017 18:46

Perky 34 D before pregnancy, who knows after as they were just floppy spaniels ears after that I just had to stuff into a bra size of choice a bit like rolling up a hanky.
And at only 21 too. I had surgery soon after.

SunSeaAndSangria · 24/09/2017 18:47

BB before and DD after, probably due to needing to loose weight 😒

CountFosco · 24/09/2017 18:52

I was BFing for over 8 years (Not all the same child). I had large breasts before children so they were never perky (I'm a 30 FF). But I'm not overweight and I don't think there's much difference now in my mid 40s to how they were before kids, although they are smaller than they were when I was BFing. Justed asked DH and he says they're still great Grin. I do a lot of exercise so the muscles underneath are good which probably helps.

ShowMePotatoSalad · 24/09/2017 18:54

C cup before
DD cup during EBF
Back to C cup now with just night feeds
Presumably shrivelled raisins once me milk dries up prays it doesn't happen

boldlygoingsomewhere · 24/09/2017 18:54

No change to mine at all after 3 years breastfeeding. No stretch marks or sagginess. My post-pregnancy stomach on the other hand is ruined...

Mummyoflittledragon · 24/09/2017 18:57

Perky B before pregnancy. Saggy C with nothing on top. Did go to a D when bfing.

Reppin · 24/09/2017 18:58

I went from 32D to DD, they have stayed at DD. initially after stopping BF (approx 3 years with no break between babies) they seemed emptier, they did become full again after about a year and are still very perky despite my advancing age!

GreyCloudsToday · 24/09/2017 19:01

Sadly mine went from a perky C cup to a saggy B cup Biscuit

rightknockered · 24/09/2017 19:02

I was a 34C before kids, then grew to around 34DD or so in pregnancy, can't remember what size they were while breastfeeding.
Now back to the same back and overbook measurements as before children, but with the new measuring system, am a 30ff, not as perky as before kids but have bounced back a little since I stopped breastfeeding

rightknockered · 24/09/2017 19:03

over boob, not overbook

KatieC0811 · 24/09/2017 19:03

I fed ds for 7 months and went from just about a B pre-pregnancy, gradually up to a C during pregnancy, D for the first few months of feeding, then gradually down again, and now I'm a slightly smaller B than before, but think sag might come into that., as I hate push-ups! I'm 18 so sure more sagging will come my way!
So in conclusion, I would definitely keep your pre baby bras, even if its just incase!

Lenny1980 · 24/09/2017 19:04

I stopped BF 8 months ago and finally admitted to myself they will never be the same again and bought new (smaller) bras yesterday. I had lovely pert c cups before, now fairly empty Bs.

LoislovesStewie · 24/09/2017 19:05

Breastfed 2 for a total of 30 months; DD before pregnancy, huge when breast-feeding, still huge years later but still perky. I think it is really pregnancy that changes them more than breast-feeding and a lot of luck , or genetics.

OneMoreForExtra · 24/09/2017 19:08

I think I remember reading that it's pregnancy which changes your boobs, not breastfeeding, and the change is loss of holyme in the top, which makes them appear saggier. I probably remember because this is what mine have done!

RaspberryBeret34 · 24/09/2017 19:08

I breastfed for 22 months, 32DD before and same now. They spent a year maybe after feeling a bit softer but seem to have firmed up again now (3 years after stopping bfing). They were perky before and slightly less so now but no massive change.

eurochick · 24/09/2017 19:09

I'm back in my old bras. They are slightly less full at the top than pre breastfeeding but pretty close to what they were before.
