What happened to the after you finished breastfeeding?
Did they go up, down a size, get perkier or sag down to your knees?
Just curious as to whether I should bother keeping all my old bras in case I shrink back to my normal size or go and buy bigger ones now i have boobs the size of bloody footballs. I'm living in maternity bras at the moment

My cup size didnt alter during pregnancy and I only had slight 'fullness' when b/f.

My band size went up during pregnancy (how it does due to the ribcage getting bigger.. I bought new bras which were useless after as I went down to my pre-pregnancy size. I wish I had bought my original size and an expander while pg...but realise I was probably a bit odd not going up a cup size

Mine are pretty much the same shape and size. They are about 50% areola now though which is delightful.

32E pre and 32E post.

I queried this when getting measured (post) as I pointed out that there was now some space at the tops of the lace cups.

'No, you're the same size exactly. It's just that your volume is now at the bottom' came the reply.

Confused Glad I asked!

34B before pregnancy, now 32C. Really perky for about two years after stopping bf, but noticed a slight change this year after I turned 40.

Mine were like half deflated balloons after BF DD1. I struggled to find bras to fit as I couldn't fill the top half of the cup.
Now BF DD2 and it's nice to have proper boobs again! Dread to think what they'll be like once I've finished feeding her.

I hope I stay a little bit bigger than my usual size. I was an A to start and when I went to get measured she said I was a DD. I nearly fell off my bloody chair. I got bullied all my teen life for having none and suddenly have these bloody huge ones.
Staying at a B/C would be nice. Just hoping for a miracle

Can I ask a question too! Sorry OP! Regardless of weight change, do boobs get bigger or smaller with the menopause. I heard they tend to get bigger but maybe due to weight gain?

Anyone not gained weight and able to say what happened to them at least?

Mine were a 34DD before
Went up to a 36FF during
Are still a 36FF now!
BF for 9 months. Just the one.

They have definitely, er... relaxed a little since having a baby, but I'm relatively perky for such a big' un! But then I have always taken bra-wearing quite seriously.

Mine aren't really different now to pre-breastfeeding (lovely & round & perky whilst!) but I'm only an A cup so not much to go wrong luckily.

Still sometimes miss my pregnancy & breastfeeding boobs Blush

They were never exactly the same size but you wouldn't really notice. One made almost no milk the other a bit so after a year of bf the larger one is now noticeably larger. 7 yrs later, I doubt they will ever equalise.

I'm back in my old bras. They are slightly less full at the top than pre breastfeeding but pretty close to what they were before.

I breastfed for 22 months, 32DD before and same now. They spent a year maybe after feeling a bit softer but seem to have firmed up again now (3 years after stopping bfing). They were perky before and slightly less so now but no massive change.

I think I remember reading that it's pregnancy which changes your boobs, not breastfeeding, and the change is loss of holyme in the top, which makes them appear saggier. I probably remember because this is what mine have done!

Breastfed 2 for a total of 30 months; DD before pregnancy, huge when breast-feeding, still huge years later but still perky. I think it is really pregnancy that changes them more than breast-feeding and a lot of luck , or genetics.

I stopped BF 8 months ago and finally admitted to myself they will never be the same again and bought new (smaller) bras yesterday. I had lovely pert c cups before, now fairly empty Bs.

I fed ds for 7 months and went from just about a B pre-pregnancy, gradually up to a C during pregnancy, D for the first few months of feeding, then gradually down again, and now I'm a slightly smaller B than before, but think sag might come into that., as I hate push-ups! I'm 18 so sure more sagging will come my way!
So in conclusion, I would definitely keep your pre baby bras, even if its just incase!

over boob, not overbook

I was a 34C before kids, then grew to around 34DD or so in pregnancy, can't remember what size they were while breastfeeding.
Now back to the same back and overbook measurements as before children, but with the new measuring system, am a 30ff, not as perky as before kids but have bounced back a little since I stopped breastfeeding

Sadly mine went from a perky C cup to a saggy B cup Biscuit

I went from 32D to DD, they have stayed at DD. initially after stopping BF (approx 3 years with no break between babies) they seemed emptier, they did become full again after about a year and are still very perky despite my advancing age!

Perky B before pregnancy. Saggy C with nothing on top. Did go to a D when bfing.

boldlygoingsomewhere · 24/09/2017 18:54

No change to mine at all after 3 years breastfeeding. No stretch marks or sagginess. My post-pregnancy stomach on the other hand is ruined...
