You've got to remember it's a generational thing as well - them comparing the way we bring up our kids to the way they did and that's bound to cause a few 'differences of opinion'. Leave us alone to bash 'em I say - everyone gets a bashing on MN from time to time: dhs, dcs, so why not MILs? Mine's very sweet but unbelievably irritating so if I didn't do it here I'd be ear-bashing dh non-stop and I woudn't have any time to draw breath.
