She should of left him a long time ago.

She's pregnant with her 4th now...

But that her life, not mine !

The80sweregreat · 04/09/2017 16:56

i really do not care. its the kids that will suffer though and thats sad for them. He comes across as a bit of a knob anyway.

distanceinair · 04/09/2017 17:18

I don't understand why anybody thinks it has anything to do with them.

And it certainly has nothing to do with Colleen's parents!

Riversleep · 04/09/2017 19:08

margaret even if he was set up, chances are he was going to have sex with her. Why else would you get a cab to a different place and then attempt to drive some girl you don't know home? She would have got much more money if she had shagged him. If she had set the whole thing up, I wouldn't be surprised if some pap had a rare attack of conscience when a clearly hammered Wayne Rooney got into a car and called the police. She has apparently been trying to get herself a rich boyfriend for a while. Nobody but Rooney was stupid enough to go for it, so maybe he was targetted as the thickest of the thick, but he still fell for it because he wanted to get his end away.

DeleteOrDecay · 04/09/2017 19:54

Of course he was hoping to shag her! Do you think he offered to drive her home out of the kindness of his heart? PleaseHmm

Most decent people would offer to pay for a taxi home, if he was expecting sex then he could have jumped into said taxi with her and non of this would be public knowledge (yet...). He's an idiot of the highest order, happy to shag about having a whale of a time, with no thought to his pregnant wife or children at home.

I hope she does leave him but I won't judge her if she doesn't.

Panicattheschoolgate · 04/09/2017 19:58

I think she should but then it's not so simple when your in love.

Riversleep · 04/09/2017 20:04

Surely love for your partner is not the same as love for your children? If my children did something awful, I would still love them, but if my DH behaved like such an arse and constantly demonstrated his utter contempt for my wellbeing and disrespect for me, my love would die pretty darn quick.

Andrewofgg · 05/09/2017 11:58

distanceinair The fascination with other people's business - especially if they are rich and famous - keeps the trash magazines going!

wasonthelist · 05/09/2017 12:02

Who?

Andrewofgg · 05/09/2017 12:06

wasonthelist I am given to understand that the lady's husband is by trade a professional player of Association football, a rather peculiar game layer with a spherical ball and popular with the lower orders.

pigeondujour · 05/09/2017 12:17

Popular with the lower orders? Who the fuck do you think you are?

Andrewofgg · 05/09/2017 12:19

pigeondujour Do you rise to obvious bait in RL too?

TronaldDumpy · 05/09/2017 12:22

She should leave him but she won't. She's a doormat and she's proved that several times before.

These are just the times that we know about. Imagine all the times that we, and she, have absolutely no knowledge of.

PortiaCastis · 05/09/2017 12:25

I just do not believe what's in the trashy media, who knows what happened certainly not the gutter press on the whim of a kiss and tell

pigeondujour · 05/09/2017 12:53

Obvious bait my hole.

Andrewofgg · 05/09/2017 14:01

pigeion I know what was in my mind.

UnicornRainbowColours · 05/09/2017 14:22

Poor girl I think she should defo divorce him. I mean this isn't his first time and it won't be his last.

DoloresMae · 05/09/2017 14:39

She will never leave him (the practising Catholic thing is a major thing).

I don't care either but God knows I've got an opinion on everything.

RoseAndRose · 07/09/2017 07:43

I don't think they spend that much time together these days (combination of his international career and her holidays).

They were childhood sweethearts, before he was famous/rich. They've been together over half their lives. It probably does feel like they're a unit and that they'll get through ups and downs.

SkintAsASkintThing · 07/09/2017 07:50

They got together far too young imo.

He should have been given his time to go off being a knobby teenager and she should have focussed on her education then got together properly when they were matured.

She's actually related to a family member of mine (( family through marriage )) her parents are lovely people. If she has any sense she'll go back to them and take on board any advice they give.

LucieLucie · 07/09/2017 08:01

Colleen won't divorce Wayne. She'll stand by her man. She seems like a traditional wife and mother to me and she's not stupid.

Having affairs and cheating is not always black and white. Ultimately it's her decision so who are we to judge?

I also think that on this occasion the girl with the very weird face whom he was caught driving her car did set him up.
I think it was her who called the police to say he was drunk driving too, all to get herself in the limelight.

SheSaidHeSaid · 07/09/2017 08:05

Spot on Lucie ! Couldn't agree more.

Riversleep · 07/09/2017 20:37

Lucie she most likely at the very least went out deliberately to try and get off with a footballer. But he still willingly went with her, knowing full well that girls doll themselves up and go to the club for the sole purpose of tempting footballers. If he didn't want to go off with her, he could have said no. He didn't probably for the millionth time.

MistressDeeCee · 07/09/2017 20:45

Where does "should" come into it? I always imagine she likes being "Mrs Rooney", the footballer's wife lifestyle, they have 3 DCs. She could divorce him but if Mrs Rooney No.2 comes along she''ll be on the sidelines won't she, with new Mrs R all up in the headlines. For all those reasons and likely more I guess she won't divorce him. For those who think yeah but if she does, she'l still have the money - its not solely about money its about status. She's turned a blind eye to many of the outrageous things her DH has done, why should this latest incident be any worse...? She knows her own tolerance level. We don't.

Entitled men are created by women mostly...& Im not talking about the birth process
