There's a mouse in my kitchen and I'm terrified to go in there.

Earlier this evening I went to the kitchen to get a snack only to be greeted by a MOUSE I saw it ran across the count towards where my microwave is. I ran out screaming because it was the first time I'm seeing one in my house and I hate them, they make my skin crawl. Now I'm setting here terrified to go in there.Sad

shittybangbang I'm a vegan so I don't agree with killing animals. But the humane traps are shit. We had mice in our old house- they would work, and we were catching a mouse every day, and letting it out every day. They are pretty good at finding their way back. So...snappy traps it was.

When we moved to the country I tried the humane traps again. The mice could only bloody get out of them! They'd take the bait...and bugger off. Obviously country mice are cleverer! So, again...snappy traps.

It's not nice. They are cute. But they piss continously, shit everywhere and can eat through into your cupboards/food. But they are more scared of you, than you are of it.

Bloody hell it's a mouse!! Grow up!
And I second humane traps but don't set then free in your bloody garden FFS! They just come back!

We had a rat once. We (eventually) caught him in a humane trap and took him just over a mile away to set him free in someone's field. Never saw him again. Never had rodents in the house since.
