DH has gone out. He had half a bottle of wine just before I got in but I cannot find the bottle anywhere. I've checked the recycling (in case he finished it) but it's not there, nor anywhere else I can think of. He hid it once before and it was behind a curtain...

Ideas?!

Can't be in the car as I was out in the car and it was already gone when I got back. plus he hasn't taken his car key with him.

DH thinks he's good at hiding chocolate but after 2 years of this game I know all the hiding places. I should add that this game started when I was on slimming world and asked him to hide chocolate. Now he just does it to be an annoying shit for fun.

Shower/bathtub? On top of the kitchen cupboards/range hood. Is there anywhere where you wouldn't hide it (e.g. Because you are to short or it is a part of the house where you never go?

I'd probably go for wardrobe or back of a kitchen cupboard unit. Maybe where the pots are stored or in a larder.

maybe he's drinking it on the way to the pub. otherwise behind the shower curtain or behind something in the cupboards (probably cereal packets as you aren't likely to move those tonight)

I'd get a couple of bottles and hide them where you only know, so if you ever really fancy a glass you can have one. There's having a joke but I think he's taking it a bit too far!

Check the shed, dustbin, and the toilet cistern. Hopefully it is not in the latter!

user it's because it's really bugging me!! I don't really drink at all (don't like it much, makes me feel sick) so i'm always a bit at his drinking which sometimes gets a bit ott for my liking, although it's not much really. It's more that it's binging (e.g. a whole bottle to himself in a short evening) and he's 46, I feel he's a bit old for that now... so this comes from me taking the piss and him being embarrassed or something and hiding it?! Trouble is I always know almost the moment I see him whether he's had wine or not, and usually how much, so it is kind of pointless...

Still, the locality of this damn bottle is winding me up.
