Worried about parcel of acid posted through my door

Returned from holiday to a Royal Mail parcel, small enough to fit through letter box. It had my address but a different name and my DS name as surname. Hence opening before realising it wasn't for us. None of my immediate neighbours have this name.
The parcel is a bottle of acid, about the size of a calpol bottle. With instructions for a face peel. It states you put this on your face and it's like severe sunburn and the skin on your face peels.
AIBU to be a bit suspicious of this package given the acid attacks that seem to be on the increase and ring the police or would you return to sender and assume they got the address wrong and not give it another thought. The sinister part of my brain is wondering if someone knew I was away and intended to get the parcel.

Ok ok I did say I didn't think it was for me but that someone posted it to mine knowing I was away and intending to intercept the parcel. I will just bin it.

Some posters are idiots. Why not just use Google?

What a nasty post. When I got my mystery parcel from China I did Google it but most of the results were answers on Reddit or money awareness forums where posters were asking for peer advice from specific interest forums.
