I think the whole 'sport' of beating each other up is stupid and pathetic beyond belief, personally.

McGregor used to be a boxer, not a professional one but he planned to be and it was pretty much his life until he turned 19 and discovered MMA....... so everyone that keeps saying "oh he's not even a boxer!", well he actually is!

I love Conor mcgregor and agree with pp who said it's all show. Maywether is a wife beater where as mcgregor has a lovely little family and largely credits his partner with all his success openly saying without her it would not have happened. I obviously don't know but from interviews I suspect behind closed doors he's a lovely man and knows that the arrogance and big mouth is what gets him these huuuuuuggggeee pay packets!

He's got nothing to lose as he's the underdog but win or lose the fight he will have increased the market value of his brand as well as picking up over $100,000.
