Is there anything you said you'd never, ever do but then did?

Have kids and become a teacher (my whole family are teachers). I've been teaching for 3 years, have a toddler and I'm going back to work as a teacher in his nursery this year.

Have a child (two year old DD currently fast asleep upstairs).
Join a gym (going for third session tomorrow and enjoying it so far).
Wear slippers (feet currently snugly and warm in a very uncool M&S pair).

I third cosleeping ! I was very snooty about it too oops.

Agree the parenting things - no dummy, no formula etc; within 24 hours dummy and formula....

Have a long term relationship I didn't count the FWB situation I was in.
Have a child.

Have Botox.

Correct my children's pronunciation/grammar.

Use the crevice tool on a vacumm.

I remember my 6 yo DD saying in horror that some children run into school without kissing their mum goodbye and she would never, ever do that! It bought tears to my eyes then and it does now that she is all grown up and left home.

Get a dog, and call her my baby, let her sleep in my bed and lick me all over. I was scared of dogs but she is my life.

You guys are hilarious! I've ticked off a few from your lists but would like to add something I felt very strongly about, no pain relief in labour - ha! I was begging for everything they had after an enjoyable back to back labour with my first!
