Just popped into a charity shop on my way to the shop and Someone just said what a gorgeous little bump you've got and how far along I was....I AM NOT PREGNANT!!

So I turned to her and said ooooo about 12 weeks! I even patted my food baby 😳 I didn't even think I was particularly plump at the minute!!

I came home slightly down trodden lol my friend said I should've said I'm not pregnant but I didnt think it was nice to point it out she was trying to be friendly lol

Thanks Flyby DH sidled up to me and whispered 'you know they think you're...' and I just hissed 'I don't care, I'm sitting down!' Grin

He then tried to look like a proud dad for the rest of the journey. I am quite fat though and it was a rather flowing maxi Blush

This happened to me! Although she didn't use the word 'pregnant' but harped on about how 'glowing' I was and a must be excited. DP had an upset tummy and had thrown up, and she said 'really ought to be you throwing up'. Smiled and just assumed she was a lunatic but didn't realise what she was on about until afterwards. I then banished the coat I was wearing to the charity shop!

I wouldn't have done this as if you see her again

Of course YWNBU. However this is why people really need to think before they speak.
I wouldn't be able to think of my feet like you did though. Knowing me and my dopey ways.If they asked me when I was due. I'd probably say December and we'd only be in January.Grin.
