It's basically discharge, the thicker it is the more fertile you are. I have no idea how one differentiates cervical mucus from other discharge, or if they wait for it to fall into their knickers or simply fish it out themselves. Either way it has ended up on my newsfeed more than once

I actually sent one screengrab of the mucus to a friend (we have a running joke about "I can't un-see this so you must see it too" and compete to send each other the grimmest pictures) and because I have shared Apple account with our family iPad, all the pictures I take on my phone go onto the iPad. I forgot to delete it.

So DH got a lovely surprise when he was scrolling through them on the iPad one day. I actually heard him scream 😂
