Hi all welcome to the most intriguing article you may ever read and yes everything that is written is the complete truth as I have the evidence captured on my iPad, so here goes we have moved in to a property and have had to listen to x y shouting and smacking kids, my ds has even witnessed it, we then find out that we have been reported to children's services which was obviously malicious, so on phone I explained everything up to that point that was happening, and I then followed that up with a call to the nspcc, which then i don't know what happened following that yes you guessed it police knocking on our door insisting our children were in danger which they weren't. We obviously know that at this point it's our neighbour reporting us, to which I then just carry on I am recording everything that we hear inside our own lounge, the more I record the more I notice the threats towards the kids example, if you don't stop crying I will give you something to cry for😱 Furthermore we have reported it to the police who have been no help whatsoever the council and our local children's services who say get ready they have to witness it 😱 So you ask what about polic why haven't they helped well it seems that idiot neighbour is mirroring everything I say and when I went to the police station I end up with a community protection notice warning which I obviously got overturned, we are stuck the more evidence I get the more no one wants to know, would I be within my rights to out these recordings of mine as they are under no court restrictions at present you know evoke article 10 of my human rights freedom of speech? We really don't know what to do because everything they do at present is surrounded by music and making our life hell we phone local authorities who won't come out and witness it moreover we had local authority recording equipment which captured everything from noise to the abuse and no one is taking any action, if anyone can offer any guidance it really would be appreciated, we also have triggered a case review but am unsure how this is going to help. We have tried everything but it seems to be having a detrimental effect on my household 3 of my children have disabilities who need constant care and attention but all we are doing is banging our heads against the wall by trying to rectify problems that shouldn't be down to us should it? #savethekids#sickofnoise#crappyneighbours. Thank you all who read this oh and forgot to add this has been going on for over a year😱

Does your iPad have a full stop button?

MoonPower · 08/08/2017 17:09

Why are you all being such tossers about the OP's punctuation?! Hmm

MoonPower · 08/08/2017 17:10

Sounds like a nightmare OP.
Have you tried speaking to your local ward councillor?
Is moving an option?
We're the NSPCC any help?

Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:11

I have re writen it for you.

Thank you Moon

It's a complete nightmare.
Do you mean local mp?
Nspcc no help.

OP posts:
PacificDogwod · 08/08/2017 17:13

That all sounds awful.

I suppose all you can do is keep recording evidence, reporting when anything happens and either a. put up with it in the meantime or b. move.
Easier said than done, of course.

Thank you for taking the time to post again Thanks

As they overlooked sending the warning letter out to the neighbours prior to the noise equipment being installed, it cannot be used for evidence purposes (even though there are many hours of recordings)
How very galling.
Can you take some kind of private action?
Get a lawyer involved??

MoonPower · 08/08/2017 17:13

(Apologies to the punctuation police that was a typo meant to say were the NSPCC any use)

Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:16

The only things I can do is

  1. try to get magistrates to serve them a noise abatement notice which will cost us.
  2. the only private action I can take is take them to county court for compensation, that doesn't help and I don't think these guys have 2 penny's to rub together.

No I mean your local councillor - they should be able to advise you on who the right department / contact in social services would be for example to help with the issues with the kids - (although I'd be surprised if they weren't already on a list somewhere)

The staff at the council carry out the wishes of locally elected Councillors - if you get one of these people on side it can help get a better response from the paid staff in the local council offices iyswim?

Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:17

Also it has nothing to do with money, we would just like to live in peace.

OP posts:
MoonPower · 08/08/2017 17:19

Local Ward Cllrs usually have a surgery where members of the public can come along and talk to them about issues they have locally.

They are usually in the local town hall or library or something.

MoonPower · 08/08/2017 17:20

www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors

You can put your postcode in here & find out who your Cllr is.

Beerwench · 08/08/2017 17:23

Speak to the council again and insist that the noise recording equipment is reinstalled and this time they get it right and all the letters that need to be sent are sent etc - I'd be kicking up a fuss if I reported this and the council messed up their own investigation and then shrugged their shoulders about the outcome. Surely you're still entitled to the action they could take if they actually investigate properly?

I'm not so sure on the children's services side of things, you wouldn't be told if ss were getting involved or already were or any outcomes, if the NSPCC were no help could you try ss again? Directly reporting what you hear and when you hear it and what your son saw?
Sorry not a great help there! Good luck!

Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:24

I have tried everything to the best of my abilities.
I have reported to everyone I can.
I don't know why but we are just not getting the help.

OP posts:
PacificDogwod · 08/08/2017 17:26

I'd submit a complaint to the council or whoever did not send out the required letter - their mess, they sort it.

Speaking to a local councillor cannot hurt.

Name and shame your neighbours in the local press?

kali110 · 08/08/2017 17:28

MoonPower i have no idea, just because the op hasn't used a full
Stop? Really? Hmm
It's not hard to understand at all.

Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:28

Beerwench we have had he recording equipment installed on 2 occasions now, should we have to go back to the beginning if we have proved our case?

I know we won't hear from children's services but it's clear to see that nothing is or going to happen.
I have reported when things have happened and police say, nothing to do with us, and well children's services obviously need to witness it?

OP posts:
PacificDogwod · 08/08/2017 17:30

Keep reporting.
And reporting.
And reporting.

Keep a written record of events and your reporting of events.

It's unfair you have to put this effort in, but it's either that or putting up with it/moving, isn't it??

You may need to continue to be a Very Creaky Gate to get the Oil of peace and quiet you'd like.

Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:31

I would love to do more than that.

I want to evoke article 10 of human rights, freedom of speech.
But I don't want to get in trouble, but I have no idea what to do.

I have all my own recordings which if anyone knows them could out them, and I don't know where I stand in regards to the law.

OP posts:
Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:33

The effort that I have already put in is immense, and it's just taking valuable time away that I need to se for my special needs child.

Hi all welcome to the most intriguing article you may ever read

LOL.

Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:34

Sorry use

OP posts:
BootsWithDresses · 08/08/2017 17:35

But they then may evoke article 8 OP.

Hereforinfo · 08/08/2017 17:37

I know, but they are my recordings and recorded in my lounge.
They are also under no court restrictions.

OP posts:
PacificDogwod · 08/08/2017 17:38

I have no idea how 'invoking' any article of anything works Confused
