I always said 'If you really wanted to remember to take the pill, then you would'. Here I am having forgot to take the pill for 2 days and I had sleepy morning sex today and it wasn't protected so I'm off today to a sexual health clinic to get the MAP.

Is it just a pill you take and that's that? Any side effects ? I'm quite embarrassed.

I took it about 15 years ago. I think it was two pills and I had to take the first one then and there with the pharmacist. I seem to recall my period coming on earlier, and sore breasts (which I always get with my period anyway).

I got pregnant :/

Hope you managed to get it op. Don't be put off by all the failed pills here! Statistically loads more women will have gone on not to get pregnant Smile

Also the pill is good for up to 72 hours, although as a pp said it depends on whether or not you've ovulated as to whether it'll be effective or not.
