I know I know I was asking for it- going out in the car on a Sunday; 'Sunday drivers'... As I was sat/stuck behind yet another slow, overly cautious (shit - IMO) driver it infuriated me that she left a car sized gap between her and the car in front of her. These selfish twats idly trundle by just as the lights change leaving whoever was stuck behind them (and their massive unnecessary gap...) stuck at the lights. I curse them. What and/or who really gets you mad?

My downstairs neighbours: a family of chav wankers who have no respect for anyone. The levels of noise: arguing, door slamming, antisocial behaviour, making noise at antisocial times etc is ridiculous. The woman just woke me up at 3am pottering around her kitchen banging pots! I shouted "shut up" she shouted back "you can't hear anything from this flat" I screamed "you just woke me up with your fucking pottering at 3am!!!" delusional bitch. She then slammed a door that woke DD up Angry Why why WHY isn't The Purge real??! I need to kill these people...

People who 'generously' give way when there is absolutely no need WHATSOEVER Angry. Especially when there is NO traffic queue or if it's a quiet road. Especially when their generosity is more of an endangerment in certain situations.
And then they look at me as if they are waiting for the Thank You they think they're entitled to. Most put out they are when I refuse. Yes, THAT'S why you didn't get the Thank You you were expecting for your saintly/irritating, pointless, self-serving, act of supposed kindness.
Let's get this straight, it's not helpful and it's not polite.
Just follow the freakin' highway code - it's MUCH SAFER FOR EVERYONE! Angry

I don't even care that this is probably 1,000% unreasonable.

Rude people, people with no common sense, anyone that says 'oooh that's not that far away' in relation to my due date - yes it is, it's 7 fucking weeks, nearly 2 months & that's assuming I'm not overdue (again) - easy to say when you haven't got an elephant hanging off your front that is giving you constant heartburn whilst dancing on your bladder & booting you in your cervix, not to mention the backache & swollen feet & ability to still puke several times a week, so fuck off with your 'that's not that far away'.

Also my 'D'f - raging alcoholic who has never given a shit about anyone but himself so stop making out your husband & father of the year to everyone else.

Hypocrites, crocodile tears, people who talk over films / TV programmes, very new inexperienced learner drivers in rush hour traffic, cold callers, spiders, smug Facebook posters.

The80sweregreat · 08/08/2017 07:05

I think that sometimes people just say things for something to say - hence that ' thats not long to go ' for a baby due or a holiday or whatever the subject is. just because they need to fill the silence
i am like that - i have a family member who never does this, she will remain quiet about most things, never say the cliches i tend to come out with without thinking! maybe i should be more like them.
i admit, its annoying though.

MummyMuppet2x2 · 08/08/2017 07:50

People who big up their jobs to sound more important (i.e. one or two job grades higher) than they really are. How stupid they look when, after one or two well targeted questions the facade is well and truly over. Grin Especially if you have let them spend the whole afternoon bragging on and on about it before exposing them because you already know what they do from someone else GrinWink
Yes, I do mean you 'D'niece aged 32.

In fact most things about said niece are fairly galling. Let's see now, wrecking a marriage, seeing nothing wrong with wrecking marriage, showing 0% regret for causing pain and heartache to all hurt by her marriage wrecking, dumping the man when she'd looked him for as much as she could (he still pays maintainence for the child) being proud of who and what she is, fooling everyone on FB by sounding lovely, saintly and caring when she's horrific .... oh.... I could go on and on....

Gosh that feels better Smile

Eralc3891 · 08/08/2017 07:55

YY to people walking 2 or 3 abreast down a corridor/pavement. WHERE do these people expect you to go? Do they want you to walk into the road or flatten yourself against the wall.

They especially annoy me when they then bump into you and give you either a shocked or dirty look. Angry

StorminaBcup · 08/08/2017 08:03

I'm sure it's already been mentioned but space-invaders, the people who can't quite grasp what a comfortable distance is. They'll stand right beside as you pay for shopping; hover near your shoulder at the cash point; breathe down your neck in a queue; see no problem with their leg touching yours when you're already cramped on the window train seat.....MOVE AWAY Angry

There needs to be a 'like' button on Mumsnet...

fartsinbed · 08/08/2017 08:16

I never, ever, ever, arrive late. You just don't do it in this country.

IDoDaChaCha · 08/08/2017 08:48

farts late people are so rude. A guy once turned up 1.5hrs late for a second date. We are not together Grin

Arrogant impatient people in customer facing roles. If you hate people and don't want to be bothered, don't apply to work with people, nobody cares if your job annoys you just stop taking it out on everyone else and take some responsibility...

Inept social media staff who can't (or wont!) actually help whose sole reason for being employed seems to be to deliver insincere tweets and such of how 'sorry' they are before directing you to a telephone number or email where someone actually resolves faults. And the point is?

Stupid anti theft clothes hangers in hotels.
Designed to benefit the hotel and irritate the user.
I also find them insulting.

My Mum, and my anxiety around her.

People who don't do what they say they will.

Waiting for things to happen.

My stress levels when everything is going on.

user1497357411 · 08/08/2017 10:24

People who run a marathon/ goes on a long walk/climbs a mountain for charity and send round mass emails to beg for money in which they mention the charity with maximum one line but spends 20 lines on "I feel", "MY goal", "MY opinion", me me me, mine mine mine. You don't see the nice old ladies who work three days a week in the charity shop sending round such obnoxious emails. And if you are a manager in a company NO you CANNOT send these emails round to people who work for you because then it is NOT voluntary to contribute. You are in fact blackmailing people into contributing to your moment in the sun. Also when people at a company with +80 people get 5 of those emails a week you actually loose quite a lot of company time on that. If you want to collect money for a charity and don't want to just give them x% of your salary, then work extra over the weekend and give the extra money you earn to them.

Justbreathing · 08/08/2017 11:17

I would have to say fartsinbed on this thread...
not sure how they managed to sneak in blatant homaphobia without anyone commenting...
Thought we had left the dark ages behind

Floralnomad · 08/08/2017 11:29

I've reported farts posts both last night and again this morning , I think MNHQ are busy elsewhere .
