Welshrainbow · 31/07/2017 21:40

Breakfast: one egg and natural yoghurt
Snack: 4 strawberries
Lunch ham and cheese spread sandwich. Carrot sticks dipped in hummus and half a biscuit
Dinner: pita pizza with vegetables, natural yoghurt and blueberries.

DS has tried fruit shoots and I will sometimes let him have one when we are out but don't buy them for the house. He probably has one or two a month.

Bibs2014 · 31/07/2017 21:42

Thanks everyone. I let DS have a fruit shoot if we are out and sees one in the cafe (by that I mean I buy them from Tesco on special offer and take one out in the baby bag)!!

Mine has stopped eating veg, can only get him to eat corn on the cob and cucumber now. I hide veg in spag bol/chilli etc. He used to eat avocado and broccoli! I was so smug Grin.

Porridge
A brioche roll
A chocolate bar
Cream cheese bagel
2 malted milk
Bacon and cabbage pasta with a piece of flatbread
Blackberries and blueberries for afters

Frouby · 31/07/2017 21:48

3 or 4 starburst he snaffled from dps stash this morning. He came into me, told me he was going back to bed for a rest then was suspiciously quiet so I checked or it would have been more.

2 x slices of toast and a banana.
Tuna sandwich and a yoghurt for lunch.

Jacket spud with cheese and beans.
Trifle for pudding.

Water for drinks.

He will only drink water or proper purple fruit shoots. Won't touch anything else. He has water most of the time but I do pick a pack of 4 up on a friday for over the weekend, when we are out if they sell the purple ones or if he is ill or the weather is really hot. I don't like him having them but they come in useful if I want him to drink more.

bangingmyheadoffabrickwall · 31/07/2017 21:51

My 2 year old ate:
tesco chocolate pillows (in a fashion)
Quavers (entire bag)
Tuna Sandwich (one bite)
Chips (lots)
Doughnut (half)
Ice cream (mine Angry )
Ravioli (half a small tin)
Toast (full slice)
Trio biscuit (one bite)
Breakaway (full lot)

Judge away!

streetface · 31/07/2017 21:52

Eggy bread and a handful of blackberries, redcurrants and blueberries (mixed)

Sliced chicken breast, sweetcorn, cucumber and two sliced fingers of wholemeal toast.

Wholemeal pasta with pepper, tomato, passata and mince with a sliced banana topped with peanut butter for afters.

I can't help notice most 3 year olds have snacks. But if I ever offer a snack between meals I may as well not bother giving a meal as it won;t get eaten even if the portions are small. I found the same with my middle child too.

Anyone else find the same?

bangingmyheadoffabrickwall · 31/07/2017 21:53

Bollocks!

Forgot the juice, fruit shoot and cola drink!

(We were on a day trip out today. Junk is so much easier than healthy food and sadly more appealing to a fussy, temper-tantruming, assertive, 'I-will-not-eat-anything-you-ask-me-to' two year old girl.)
