I can't believe we're on 7.

In need to go and catch up on the last couple of pages of 6.

Still no CFN OR ANYONE.

I'm thinking someone will be there tomorrow. HOPEFULLY.

There's always time for coffee somebody else has made my dear. Always!

InvisibleLlama · 31/07/2017 09:23

Rugratwrangler Placenta Marking should definitely be a MN thing!

GinAndToast · 31/07/2017 09:24

I missed workzilla and shagzilla I think. Up to date on this and Parking Wars, so would someone be so kind as to link to those as I can't spot them anywhere?

Anything to avoid actually being productive today 😂

Doman · 31/07/2017 09:24

Best MN thread ever. Glued to this poolside in Lanzarote. Will the CFNs ever return?

scotchpie · 31/07/2017 09:25

Waiting for the 'shit to hit the fan' so to speak today!

BTW Doran how's the weather in Lanzarote? I'm going in 2 weeks 😊

Lizadot · 31/07/2017 09:26

@Rugratwrangler placenta 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

MaitlandGirl · 31/07/2017 09:32

Been following these threads with my mouth wide open - bloody shocking behaviour from CFN.

Hope you hear back from planning today and they've told good news. Forgot if it's been mentioned but is there a freeholder involved at all?

mikeyssister · 31/07/2017 09:33

I was only out for 5 mins and it's 3 threads later. Can't believe we still haven't seen the CFN, but it's doing a fantastic job for getting Wattyyy to know the neighbours.

Maybe the government have started a new get to know your neighbours campaign and CFN are just a bit ahead of the posse??

Veronicat · 31/07/2017 09:34

I give you the dance finale from We'll always have Mablethorpe, The Movie

Starring:
Pierce Brosnon as the friendly neighbour
Cillian Murphy as random wine buyer in shop
Anthony Head as the lovely shop keeper
Idris Elba as New Daddie, the entitled garden stealing appropriater
And Introducing Tom Hardy as The Builder

Funko · 31/07/2017 09:34

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 31/07/2017 09:35

dailydance · 31/07/2017 09:35

Been following this from day one.... put my phone down for an afternoon and I missed a whole thread!! School boy error. I can't wait to hear the CFNs reaction.

Dragonflycushion · 31/07/2017 09:36

De lurking from Naples airport. Well it's more interesting than watching bags going round and round.Grin

scotchpie · 31/07/2017 09:42

Thank you Doman 😊

ElfrideSwancourt · 31/07/2017 09:42

SchadenfreudePersonified · 31/07/2017 09:42

We look like a rather stylish Mumsnet Apocalypse Doublemint

I would be frightened of us, and I know that we are all pussycats.*

*i.e. heartless killers, despoilers and torturers, but we never forget to wash behind our ears

TheMerryWidow1 · 31/07/2017 09:43

jeez last time I looked at this on Friday is was only on Thread 3!!! Hope the CFN turn up today.

FrogsSitonLogs · 31/07/2017 09:46

Sing to the tune of Delilah by Tom Jones..

I saw the light on the night that I passed by CFN's window
I saw the flickering shadows of dust on their blind

He was my CFN
As they deceived me I watched and went out of my mind

My, my, my, CFN
Why, why, why, CFN

I could see
my garden of tranquility
destroyed in a moment in a sea of dusty concrete

frecklesmcspeckles · 31/07/2017 09:46

@smeaton love it!!! Between that and the fabulous babooshka ''s effort and the great Ace of Base (can't remember which pp sorry!) my head will be full of fab tunes today.

DudeHatesHisCarryOut · 31/07/2017 09:51

I feel we need a patter song among our musical numbers:
(With apologies, and thanks, to W. S. Gilbert):

I am the very model of a cheeky fucking neighbourer,
I've information gathered from the annals most superior
I know all ways of smashing holes in walls that are exterior
From axe and club and hammer to the most expensive bulldozer.
I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters concerned with a square,
I know that four by six with none to me just isn't very fair,
Why should I be deprived of space when there's a garden right outside?
The answer's simple, place a door that's eight feet tall and six feet wide!

My planning consent knowledge, though I'm plucky and adventury,
I barely know the basics, sure as hell they don't apply to me!
But in matters of hole smashing in walls that are exterior
I am the very model of a cheeky fucking neighbourer!
