I watched Clueless last night on amazon prime and remembered how awesome 1994 was.

What are your top 1990s feel good movie recommendations? I need cult classics that really showcase the 90s in all its shell suited, permed, streaky blushered glory and make me feel like a kid again.

Favourites mentioned already are Mallrats, The Craft (although not so feelgood maybe!) and Grosse Pointe Blank. Since we've already strayed as late as 1997, might I also recommend Shooting Fish?

Kids film wise... Beethoven?

More Christian Slater- Untamed Heart
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves

Keanu and Patrick in Point Break.

Four Weddings.
Full Monty- but that's more late 1990s.

Not 90s but DH and I went to see "Can't buy me love" with a very young and nerdy looking Patrick Dempsey (Dr Mcdreamy from Greys Anatomy Grin ) who 'buys' the friendship of the schools most popular girl to make him be accepted.

And 10 Things I Hate about You (late- 1999) excellant film .

Have I missed it or has no one mentioned Dirty Dancing??
(I'll admit I just skimmed through the list)

FrankieStein · 30/07/2017 00:11

Ok that was late 80's but I think it's the right feel.
The lion king.

mic drop
