Motorbike..... Won't block the road .....

OJZJ · 27/07/2017 22:52

Damn it woman! I got to page39 thinking I could finally get off the phone and do some work and realise I now have another 17 pages to read!!! Grin

gingergenius · 27/07/2017 22:54

@AlphaBites you've been a star! Ignore the cynics. It's been a blast for us but quite probably an adrenaline-fuelled 36 hours for you. I really hope you and your neighbours kick the entitled CFN into touch and maybe, just maybe a bit of MN solidarity has helped you do that. All the best!

Lweji · 27/07/2017 22:54

It HAS stirred up the long-term shit between SWN and CFN though as there was words had earlier

With that and most neighbours complaining to the council, I bet they're kicking themselves now.

PrincessFiorimonde · 27/07/2017 22:58

I was just thinking, I bet SecondRow has got it right.

Here's to a peaceful life from now on, OP Wine

PsychoPumpkin · 27/07/2017 23:11

I have enjoyed & believed this thread & am happy with the conclusion! Smile

ClopySow · 27/07/2017 23:14

I've been out all day and was so looking forward to a sit down and a catch up with this thread. Shame it was ruined by a bunch of troll hunting assholes.

AlessandroVasectomi · 27/07/2017 23:33

Did the wheel thieves throw the gun over the fence?

subsy1a · 27/07/2017 23:44

Ooh, lovely. Time for bed (or even a bit after tfb).

Megansmumsie · 28/07/2017 01:27

I just read 57 pages of this (first thread and the second) in one go- thanks insomnia!! Please do update us if you have any more run ins with CFN and CFNE- they sound terrible and i feel like i've gotten stuck into a good book! Well, into something!

MeDented · 28/07/2017 01:34

Had to search for ages for this to get an update - feels like an anticlimax!

Mamacaker · 28/07/2017 01:35

Wheels or tyres is the new Maui/cancel the cheque.

wheelsortyres · 28/07/2017 01:36

Yes. Yes it is.

LexieLulu · 28/07/2017 01:52

If you have any of the bollards or plastic barriers left at your house, give one to every neighbour to block their drive x

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 28/07/2017 03:47

Thank goodness it's gone at last! And I suspect that if you and your neighbours all club together, you could get a decent price for ALL of you having bollards installed at once! Grin

Jg1 · 28/07/2017 05:59

I bet CRANE gets a good bollocking from CFN once this all kicks off good'n'proper with the council for not moving the car straight away when asked by OP!

Jg1 · 28/07/2017 06:00

CFNE not *CRANE" !!!!!

shakingmyhead1 · 28/07/2017 06:15

i doubt it, they have told cfne to park there, and also told their customers to park there and after the yelling the cfn said her customers will still park there, even after the op has said dont

Jg1 · 28/07/2017 06:47

Shaking, I understand that, I've been reading this from the beginning but if the CFNE had just moved the Fecking car then it wouldn't have escalated. A swift, "ooh sorry about that love" and the OP probably wouldn't have taken it further

Jg1 · 28/07/2017 06:49

CFN is now gonna get a shit load of hassle (rightly so) because CFNE didn't do as asked originally

shakingmyhead1 · 28/07/2017 07:00

I agree Jg1
CFN really shot themselves in the foot, the OP most likely wouldn't have known that CFN used it as her own personal customer parking spot if CFNE had moved the car right away, now the whole neighborhood is in the know and will make complaints to the council about her business, and she is so entitled that she still thinks she is in the right and the OP is in the wrong and will still be using the driveway as she sees fit

CazH73 · 28/07/2017 07:36

I would definitely contact the council, also get the neighbours involved to contact them & complain too.
Also does your neighbour play a radio on their premises? If so they need a licence to do this,as they have an employee on their premises & clients entering.I would contact PRS for music, just another business cost for CFN to think about.
I know of 2 people who had random visits from these people, one being my Dad at his business premises & the other my hairdresser.Had to stump up the cost & believe me they were most annoyed.

Tiger44 · 28/07/2017 08:05

Well done OP for handling it so well.
As it is a pet grooming business, I think I would have heard a dog inside the car with all the windows up, so would obviously have had to smash a window to free it.....

KitKat1985 · 28/07/2017 08:59

Please ignore the troll hunters OP, and thank you for all of the updaes. I hope it is all resolved for you now. x
