TBF the OP isn't responsible for the number of posts and level of interest her original post received.

flumpybear · 27/07/2017 19:14

Send them a note

Dear CFN
Now the cat has eventually moved from OUR PRIVATE LAND please ensure this never happens again. We have had to install CcTV due to your sense of entitlement over our property.

I shall be moving refugees in to your property during your holidays if you decide to use my land again, and billing you for the use of my land, small barge of £100 per day per driveway - any part use will be charged at £100 too, and if the car is there when I get home it will be towed and crushed

Anything which is. It entirely clear above I'm happy to discuss

mrsheathy85 · 27/07/2017 19:14

Ok so now you have an admission that the CFNs business is causing a little cal nuisance OP. Now you go to the council, along with as many other neighbours as will participate, and you make it clear that the traffic issues are causing a problem. They will investigate and quite possibly EXPECT CFN to relocate to commercial premises.

^ second this!!

seven201 · 27/07/2017 19:15

Has anyone been to retrieve the car??

seven201 · 27/07/2017 19:16

Ignore me, it was showing as no posts since 11am. Sorry!

mrsheathy85 · 27/07/2017 19:17

Also if they park there again, go out with a garden spade and "trip up" they can't really moan as it's on YOUR drive Wink

TwoDrifters · 27/07/2017 19:19

Did they charge the flat battery?

Rache11 · 27/07/2017 19:24

Very restrained op I would've gone mad!

CookieTramp · 27/07/2017 19:26

Having just read the entire thread 1 and now thread 2, the kids are late getting their dinner. Enthralled! What is it about parking threads?! They're like crack cocaine!

But disappointed in OP for such minimal reporting though... and a screen-grab of the text message would have kept the masses happy too!

Not sure I would have removed the tyres either though. OP is raging and taking revenge but so will CFN, since they had the mother of all brass necks to do that in the first place. I'd be scared of police getting involved. I would have done the milk trick or other initially invisible vengeance, as that would not show up for a few days and be therefore much harder to pin on OP. But I am a scaredy cat.

Toomanyspotsforagrownup · 27/07/2017 19:30

You know they'll just park across the drive now instead of on it....

Kc1009 · 27/07/2017 19:31

I had this happen to me, it was a taxi on my drive, sadly this taxi did not know that I owned a lovely pick up truck and a set of chains. Needless to say he came back to his car in the middle of the road, funny thing is he didn't knock and ask. PMSL

myusernamewhichisthis · 27/07/2017 19:44
  1. in future. get it recovered. im sure police could help in this instance. it s on your drive.

ive just committed the cardinal sin of not rtft.....im sorry! there were 2! ive just not got time!

CauliflowerSqueeze · 27/07/2017 19:47

The irony of course is that if he had rushed out and moved the car and been terribly apologetic, it would have been a non-issue and he could have probably continued to park there without issue.

As it is he's been a massive nob about it and so quite rightly the OP now has the raging arsehole and is putting up bollards etc.

notapizzaeater · 27/07/2017 19:47

Bloody hell / I'd have imploded ..

Moomichi · 27/07/2017 19:53

Well that took a while to get through! I've drunk all my wine!
I remember my dad once telling me about pranking a work colleague with this one but I always thought he took it too far until now....
He emptied a shoebox of paper circles from a hole punch into the air vent of the car. When the blowers were turned on it looked like it was snowing inside the car. Maybe you could get hold of a bag of dog fur......Blush

Neverknowing · 27/07/2017 19:53

I really hope this is sorted. It fucking bothers me that anyone can park on your drive LEGALLY and there's nothing you can do ffs.

CookieTramp · 27/07/2017 19:59

Neverkmowing, me too! It's just inviting selfish arseholes to do it. There was something in the news recently about a student who jetted off to India, leaving his car on his neighbour's driveway for weeks, and there was nothing they could do (legally). I would have found something evil to do anyway, but still.

I don't think it is a MN scam. The diagram and the picture of piled-up stuff suggest to me it isn't. But you have me wondering now... I agree that the reporting back has been pitiful.

Bottom line is its YOUR property, whether it is used or not. Cheeky and entitled your neighbours are.

I would put stuff on my drive just to spite them. Bastards!

jessebuni · 27/07/2017 20:16

Considering that several of the neighbours also have had issues with this I think you should jointly speak to the council about it because between all of you they can't really ignore the issue. CCTV for future evidence is a brilliant plan though.

WoofWoofMooWoof · 27/07/2017 20:16

I've lost interest now - the OP isn't answering any questions, or saying anything much at all. This has become boring. Yawn...

CookieTramp · 27/07/2017 20:22

Wow, if this was a scam... how desperately, pitifully pathetic! Fancy having so little of a life that you would bother to do such a thing. Surely no one is that sad?!
