To not clean the toilet if there's no toilet brush?

DM is demanding I clean the 'filthy' (one stain) downstairs loo.

That would be fine except she's removed all the toilet brushes as she doesn't agree with them and replaced them with those duck loo replacement things. Which she won't buy as they are too expensive.

So basically she has told me to scrub someone's shit with some toilet roll! I used to be a cleaner and I've seen some weird stuff but never this. I've refused and been told I'm disgusting and lazy. AIBU?

There are loo brushes in the staff toilets where I work. Now that IS rank.

I still do it. Just involves putting your hand in a bit of water, which after flushing is completely clean.

I don't mind wiping my own with a bit of loo roll, but I do object to wiping DH and DC's dried encrustations. Hence I say IF you can train them a brush is rarely needed.

Therapy that just seems perverse when loo brushes were invented many years ago to rid us of that necessity!

And the loo roll must dissolve and the go all yucky and then you get poo on your hands... and bits of wet loo roll.

No, nothing like that happens, honestly try it. I knew I was in a minority but didn't realise I was perverse! Grin

No thanks therapy especially since it's generally not my poo I am scrubbing away at!!
