it would be normal for your dh/partner to come and check on you if they heard you up?

Just wondered. Mine never has. I have been vomiting rings round myself at times and although he will say he has heard me, he never comes to see if i am ok. Aibu to expect him to?

It annoys me when he checks and hovers (he has a habit of stating the obvious!) but I would be upset if he didn't.

The last time I was sick was probably 9 years ago though. I wouldn't like it if he checked on me when suffering from diarrhoea!

Why do you need anyone there? I would hate to have someone near me when being sick.

I don't tend to vomit if I'm unwell. However I had a stomach bug (24 hour thing caught from DS) at the beginning of my current pregnancy. I felt so dizzy, and DH sat with me whilst I was continuously being sick. He also stayed awake, until I fell asleep.
I'm a big wimp, and like to have someone close by if I'm being sick Blush. DH would always check on me, as would I with him (he'd probably shoo me away though!).
