Inspired by the B*witched thread which has made me feel bloody old what was the first song you purchased?

Mine was The Tamperer ft Maya - Feel It

Push by Bros. On cassette. I was 13yo.

I am STILL Mrs Matt Goss Grin (and he is looking mighty fine).

I had bougjt my sister 3 singles on vinyl before that for her birthday:

Texas - I Dont Want a Lover
Transvision Vamp - I Want Your Love
[Number 3 I cant remember.. No doubt it'll come to me at 3am]

I still regarly listen to my Transvision Vamp cd, it'd bloody great!

DH's first musical purchase was Like A Virgin Grin

Queen - Innuendo, cassette single.

A friend of mine buys all his mates' babies carefully chosen CDs so they will have 'cool' answers when asked this question (well, almost, I guess when asked what their first CD was..!). DS got 'come to daddy', Aphex Twin. Erm, thanks. We're sticking with my old Playschool records for a while yet...!
