I would rather sit and listen than watch TV also can't hold the baby and a book! Could I have reccomendations for podcasts? My favourite is true crime and film/pop culture. I currently listen to:

I really enjoyed the first series of Serial - if you enjoy true crime I think it'll be right up your street. It's very addictive though.

The Mortified Podcast: tales of teenage embarresment.

This Is Actually Happening: real life stories on a range of subjects (e.g. what if you weren't afraid to die? What if your stepchild was kidnapped?).

I love Alice Isn't Dead, good call! If creepy fictional serieses are anyone else's bag, I would also recommend A Scottish Podcast, The Black Tapes, Tanis, Rabbits, Limetown and Small Town Horror.
