How disappointing

I was at university with JRM (got there from a bog standard comprehensive school) and he is a great character - amusing, kind, all the things that go against the caricature that we assume goes with him.

Slightly odd names are not unknown in the Rees-Mogg family. His sister is called Annunziata.

Annunziata is another Catholic name. It's my grandmothers name (ish) in a different language because she was born on the feast of something or other that I can't remember. My name means ascension in the same language because I was born on the feast of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary.

DD has a fairly OTT name: one obscure classical name, one family name, one saint who is rarely mentioned in the UK which is also a family name, and a double barreled surname. She likes it.

My DD has a double barrelled surname and a Shakespearean middle name which she hates.
