If something crazy this happened to me I would be on here like a shot with my entry to the MN most entitled person of 2017 award. I must say as a longer term MNer I would expect everyone to disbelieve me and get some hard evidence.

Margo, that thread had triggers in, can't see any triggers in this. It was just fun.

Sadly as soon as the line, ' deleted the messages' popped up from fam my belief popped off. Blocking yes, removing the messages from your phone due to anxiety, yes, but not to copy them to husband's phone first, nope. Not just for MN but also to prove point in school if required.

(But I still wouldn't report it)

I can understand why MN would delete troll threads even if they're harmless...really no point in a site where everything could be bollocks and no action would be taken if that were known.

Fwiw, i too was accused of trollery when i posted about my panic and distress when my DFiance was lying in hospital and we were waiting for the life support to be turned off. That was the single most fucking awful time of my life yet it was made worse by posters rushing to report without even checking me out. I have been a poster on here for over 10 years and not once have I asked for anything other than advice and support.

I don't even understand what a troll is supposed to be? I always thought they were nasty people? I Obviously got that wrong too lol! I'm certainly not one! But if I offended anyone that was not my intention. Anyway I had quite enough drama yesterday having to defend myself, definitely not going to spend today doing it. Troll is also used for someone who makes up stories that are not true, or uses a fake persona. Very easy on MN where it is all so anonymous. It is a bit annoying if people string you along on a silly fake thread but harmless. The ones I hate are where people are talking about upsetting subjects like domestic violence or a sick child. Of course it is also applied to those nasty haters you get on social media.

Yes I booked the train ticket, well dh did for me. Il ask him for the email screen shot. But I can imagine his response ha! Anyway I've gone from a massive high from all the support yesterday to feeling quite down today so have a good day and thank you all again x

What the heck now? MNHQ block OPs account, presumably because they believe there's some trollery here; but don't delete the thread? Didn't they actually say they were going to delete these posts last night?
Either OP is a troll or not. If MNHQ don't follow their own guidelines, they can hardly blame posters for not doing so.

You should contact mnhq as you can tell them some details confidentially which they won't post online. If you are a genuine poster you should contact them as your thread was a great lesson in standing up for yourself.
