Slightly different scenario, but, in the early the 2000s I was duty manager at a small convenience store, which was located near the university accommodation. One afternoon a student walks in with a massive mountain bike and stands it against the door completely blocking the entrance to the shop. I tell the guy politely he can't leave it there as it's a H&S hazard. He goes straight into a rant about how he hasn't got a lock & if I don't let him put his bike there I'm starving him because he wont be able to buy any food and it will be all my fault if he goes hungry. Bear in mind this was mid-afternoon and we didn't shut until 11pm. He had a great sense of entitlement and no charm. It's not hard to imagine someone like this could grow up to be a WORKzilla. I don't know if the thread is fake, but it it's certainly credible.

Sorry all fam here, my account is blocked. Defiantly all a true story! Unfortunately for me lol. Oh well I've been on here years and the first time I post it blows up. Thank you all for the amazing advice I was given and help with my anxiety. I'm slightly sad to be blocked for no reason, but glad to of help through a mental day! Ds also has thrown up over most of the house today. It wasn't on her shoes it was the door step and they got splashed too! Anyway thank you all again. I'm surprised by the people who say it can't be real because of the working hours and GP receptionist: my local practice doesn't do extended hours, but the reception desk is manned 08:00 to 18:30 Mon - Fri. In fact, if they close before 18:30 (in this area) they'd be in breach of contract...
