My doctor's opens at 7am 3 days a week.

livefornaps · 03/07/2017 23:04

No no "work" was all Rihanna's...work

myshinynewusername · 03/07/2017 23:05

It was entertaining but a GP Receptionist wouldn't be working from 7.30am to 6.30pm five days a week.

Tell that to the receptionists who work in my dr's surgery!

IloveBanff · 03/07/2017 23:05

Emily7708 "OP please come back and give us a pre deletion speech like you did on your last comedy thread."

Huh? Care to elucidate?

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 03/07/2017 23:05

Crumble you're wrong.

kali110 · 03/07/2017 23:05

My gp phone starts at 8am and is still open at 6 sometimes 630

kali110 · 03/07/2017 23:06

So the receptionsits there def work those hours

DAMNgina · 03/07/2017 23:06

My GP surgery hours are 8am-6pm, 3 days per week. 8am-8pm two days per week.

They close at lunch time for 13.00-2.30pm

So I assume shifts are involved.

PickAChew · 03/07/2017 23:06

You mean there were no wanking monkeys?

NataliaOsipova · 03/07/2017 23:07

I don't think she said that WORKzilla was in those hours. In the original thread it was 6.30-10.30, then when she sent a text about the Monday, it'd been pushed to 14.30 without discussion.

MrsHathaway · 03/07/2017 23:07

Well my phone has now learned WORK in block capitals so I daresay I'll be using that by default from now on ... and I won't be the only one.

Night all. It's been special.

kali110 · 03/07/2017 23:08

My gp is open the same time all week.
The one my friend goes to is 830-600 every day.

myshinynewusername · 03/07/2017 23:08

Emily obviously thinks she is very clever - she isn't.

Ignore....

sproutish · 03/07/2017 23:09

There was a Kelly Rolland song called Work, I think that's about a decade old now! Crumble

shelbie1313 · 03/07/2017 23:09

OMG, been reading this thread for 4 hours now, even had to get popcorn when it was mentioned halfway through thread 2!
Fingers crossed for a conclusion. And having heard some wired and wonderful requests I can believe this one. Can't believe the cheek of some people.

Tinseleverywhere · 03/07/2017 23:09

If this was true the op did say she was tired and she might have gone to bed, so I hope they will keep it open till tomorrow to give her a chance to come back.

redshoeblueshoe · 03/07/2017 23:10

Anyone who has been a SAHP or a WFHP will have met more than one WORKZILLA.
I even know one cheeky mare who expected all the working mums to run around collecting her kids, or dropping them off whilst she went shopping/manicures/me time.
Yes some people are that cheeky.

My 'I'm on' list is entirely full of deleted threads. The best threads on MN seem to mostly be the fake ones....

AlmostAJillSandwich · 03/07/2017 23:11

Hope all the reporty people are proud of themselves. I know someone EXACTLY this entitled, she happened to be at my grans house when my mum went round to visit and ask my gran if she wanted to come on holiday with me, dad sister and her. She just so happened to be there and invited herself along! My dad absolutely hated her, my mum knew it, but she went and booked the holiday and only told dad after it was all booked that he was coming along too, ruined the whole thing for him. Especially when she insisted the air con was "too loud" so the balcony door was left open instead, which i was on a cot bed next to and was terrified of bugs which ofc all came in. Refused to get up for breakfast and tried to insist we break the rules by making up some bacon barms etc and smuggling them up to the room when it was strict NO to take food out of the dining room. Insisted on taking some little novelty train back to the hotel one night from the water park when it would be cutting it really close to get back in time to eat, and my dad wasn't wearing dress code acceptable outfit and ended up getting only a quick plate me and sister had a forethought to make up for him because he didn't get dressed and back in time before they took all the food away. She'd buy shit in shops whilst out walking then try to palm her carrier bags off on everyone else so she didn't have to carry anything. Nasty bitch vocalised her displeasure at her father in law spending his own money because it was "cutting down her inheritance" and recently her mum has been diagnosed with early stages of dementia and can't be left much longer in her own home without 24 hour care and she's bitched about how she's not putting her life on hold to care for her mum, despite being retired and her siblings all still working. She'd also complain VERY loudly about care home costs as her "inheritance" will get spent up on the care costs. She also never has her grand children when it's her sons weekend to have his kids and he's working. Her sister, whom her and her husband still work full time, have them, despite her and her own husband both being retired.

So, having experience with bratty, entitled, self indulgent selfish arseholes who do expect everyone else to do everything for them, i believe OP.

Crumblevision · 03/07/2017 23:13

Well I've learnt something today. It seems both KR and Rihanna sang a song called WORK. Who knew? Clearly not me 😂. As you were 😶

coffeeneeded · 03/07/2017 23:14

Oh come on! Why do (idiots )people always want to spoil the fun in life?

Keep the thread! No deletion

myshinynewusername · 03/07/2017 23:16

Hope all the reporty people are proud of themselves.

They will be Jill. They love playing the detective and congratulating themselves on how clever they are.

DontTouchTheMoustache · 03/07/2017 23:17

(definitely not still awake reading this thread)

KeiraKnightleyActsWithHerTeeth · 03/07/2017 23:18

As you were Crumble, I apologise. I'll work, work, work, work (as Rhi would say) on my knowledge of songs entitled Work.
