Ok so she sent me a few more messages about how they just assumed I knew what they needed and didn't think they needed to spell it out for me! Saying that they do not know how they are expected to pay for childcare that they hadn't budgeted for as they was relying on me to provide it. And I shouldn't of said I could help if I wasn't willing to do so.

Oh dear, I hope WORKzilla and the OP's DH haven't been nicked for disturbing the peace. My old boss was arrested for this when his DD's ex turned up on the doorstep and started a fight. My boss wasn't at fault but they were both taken in while the cops sorted out what's what.

This has been a worryingly long hiatus.

Whilst we're waiting please can someone explain the significance of the MN scarf for me There was a scarf on ebay that was really cheap that half of MN ordered at one point, think it had giraffes or something on it… I accidentally bought one at a market stall and thought half of the mums were coming onto me for about a week as I was getting lots of "mmm nice scarf tinsel" (wink & knowing grin) .. then I figured out it was very similar/the same as the MN scarf!
