Saying that they do not know how they are expected to pay for childcare that they hadn't budgeted for as they was relying on me to provide it. Cheeky fecker - if you read this- you need 5 days a week for 6 weeks childcare, so 30 days. You ask 10 people one after another if they'll do 30 days care and they'll each say no unless you are very lucky. Ask 10 people to do 3 days each, spread over the holidays, and you'll probably get "yes" responses. Some will be happy to do a couple of days more.

In the same way, few people have a friend who'll pay for a £4K honeymoon as a gift, but many people could have 100 friends/family members who'll stick £40 or more in a card if you ask for cash at your wedding.

The cheeky feckers over reached by asking just 1 person. Was too much, it's easy to say no when the request is too much.
