Watched a live stream of Macron & Trudeau earlier on Facebook and the screen was full of hearts. Such a handsome couple (and Emmanuel was making eyes at Justin a lot too!)

It also looks like the Trumpers copy the curves and loops of reality tv in terms of delivering stories, distractions, attention grabbing headlines. This, on top of discrediting every other authority or expert makes for a toxic mix.

I went looking for the women because Angela is the most obvious one. All others are in dull colours.
I think Merkel took a lesson or two from the Queen on colour use.

How significant is it that Trump was placed at the periphery of that photo and Merkel is firmly at the centre and "in bold"?

This, on top of discrediting every other authority or expert makes for a toxic mix.

This was rather contentious before the election, but certainly hints of fascism and pretty much any successful totalitarian regime. But Trump admires Kim Jong-Un and other dictators.
It's not as if people weren't warned.

Speaking of Kim and his penis compensation missiles, he might well succeed in blowing himself up one of these days.

It's so infuriating that people can't see that the racism is institutionalised and then point to disproportionately high numbers of African-Americans/black people in prison as evidence that they are inherently more criminal and so worthy of treating more harshly. It's all backwards.

I can't quite believe it and am hoping she just needed a place to rest her feet for a moment (highly dodgy shoes).

I am really not sure if this kind of thing is ineptitude, arrogance or a distraction tactic--maybe a mixture of all three.
