After reading so much on here about all the MLM shite, I've finally got someone on my Facebook who is doing some coffee weight loss thing, her posts are hilarious!

Anyone else keeping their MLM people on their feed just for the comedy value?

I have one FL and had a couple of youniques but they've gone quiet recently.

I have a Younique one... She had the pizzazz to send me a happy birthday message on Facebook with the link to her group...

Housewife2010 - if there were some miracle weight loss coffee, it would be scientifically reviewed and the whole world would be thin...

No word of a lie. I got ill and as a result have lost most of my hearing.

I have been told that juice plus tablets will cure my deafness.

It's a fucking miracle.

Wineandtiramisu I know. My immediate thought was that it was completely rubbish. I think I'm being brainwashed by the cult though...

I've got a younique bot too. She's always putting up hashtag'rockingmybiz' etc. And posting make up tutorials. Hardly any 'likes' on any of them. I find it weirdly satisfying to follow her. She's not very pushy though. She tried to get me to buy something and I said sorry can't afford it, and that was that.

There's some horribly illuminating info here:

I don't know if it's true but bloody hell the one where she left leaflets at the GP and told people that her product was what cured her of cancer is actually dangerous.

One of the most intelligent people I've ever known has joined one of these schemes. I mean, she's super super smart, educated, career person and it came from nowhere and is so out of character I don't know how to respond.

SexandDrugsandaNiceCuppa · 01/07/2017 00:34

I have recently acquired a bot on my FB.
Her posts actually make me sad - she is a very sweet and kind person, but she's been utterly sucked in and brainwashed. She's absolutely certain she's getting the car. She recently posted a cut and paste job about people not supporting small business owners and how disappointing it was - I know she didn't write it, she was obviously told to post it by someone above her.
People are actively starting to avoid her now, but she won't hear a word against the company.
The really frustrating thing about it is that she was already running her own (legitimate) business which was doing fine - she had no real need to start up this nonsense. Now her original clients are starting to drift away because she tries to sell the MLM shite to them or recruit them.
