To think this babygrow is awful!

We put my parents cat in a baby grow once. He wasn't like a cat really though, he was more like a baby Grin

Miss him Sad

TheMysteriousJackelope · 16/06/2017 19:19

DeadGood I was trying to find the intersection in a Venn Diagram of people who buy babygrows like that and people who visit St. Ives. Neckbearded hipsters was all I could come up with.

I can't imagine Cornish people buying such a thing, especially not from a tourist tat shop.

isadoradancing123 · 16/06/2017 19:19

Totally inappropriate

PeaFaceMcgee · 16/06/2017 19:37

No, but being a tourist attraction, it's not just the discerning arty visitors you might be imagining. My dad once rather offensively exclaimed about St Ives "it's full of fat Northerners"

walchesterweasel · 16/06/2017 20:11

I saw some a while ago so disgusting I couldn't believe anyone would think it was an edgy or cool thing to do. I just had a quick look to see if I could see the maker ; I didn't, but I did see 'sexy baby' 'my mum's a milf' and a t shirt with nipple tassels . Jesus

DeadGood · 16/06/2017 20:14

Fair enough TheMysteriousJackelope Grin

Check this one out. Gross

imisschocolate · 16/06/2017 21:13

Ffs. Does no one on here realise that they are meant as gag gifts!

They do not make it seem like the mother was raped.

Regarding the comments about the type of person that would buy them, I'm a professional in my 30s with two degrees.

Really....this is what offends you!

TheMysteriousJackelope · 16/06/2017 21:23

imiss the recipients don't seem to realize they are gag gifts as several posters have reported seeing babies wearing the things, that is what is really grossing people out.

imisschocolate · 16/06/2017 21:35

Maybe they think other people have a sense of humour. Personally if my husband chooses to put the massage one on my daughter I'm fine with it.

I think people being grossed out is a major over reaction.

anchor9 · 16/06/2017 22:21

disgusting

Maireadplastic · 17/06/2017 17:51

imiss- somehow you've just made it worse by saying 'if my husband chooses to put one on my daughter'. Quite an achievement!

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 17/06/2017 18:10

"I would guess hipster men in neck beards trying to be edgy and instead being tacky and vulgar."

Actually, a "hipster" would never be caught dead buying something like that.

Yes, I really don't think these tasteless outfits are aimed at that market.

Slogan clothes are generally awful anyway but these are vile.

Clawdy · 17/06/2017 18:19

It's a horrible slogan for baby clothes, but I saw it not as rape reference, just as a sort of " one thing led to another, we ended up in bed "scenario.

imisschocolate · 17/06/2017 18:22

Maireadplastic - what do you mean by that

righteousviv · 17/06/2017 18:50

Ha Ha imisschocolate from one professional person with two degrees (!!) to another I imagine that Maireadplastic was implying that not many people like a braggart and that how your child was conceived is not of interest to this thread (or possibly any other) nor is the fact that you are married (congratulations), have sexual relations (well done) and have managed to procreate (amazing)!

Wholovesorangesoda · 17/06/2017 19:07

Ah I loved the been inside for 9 months one, got it for my dd when she was tiny.
The all daddy wanted was a blowjob one is nasty. The one in the OP I read more like one thing led to another rather than rape, but everyone interprets differently!

Wholovesorangesoda · 17/06/2017 19:09

Still gross though, by the way

imisschocolate · 17/06/2017 19:31

My comment was because there were sone implications regarding what posters considered the type of person that you buy them. Sone implied snobbery. It was not a boast it was to show that people were being judgmental.

Anyway, I was raised with manners, not to judge others and was taught that if you have nothing nice to say then keep your trap shut so am leaving this thread.

Bye bye judgiepants!

NewDayDawning · 17/06/2017 19:54

Very inappropriate, sex references on baby clothing Hmm

Maireadplastic · 17/06/2017 20:03

But iMiss, when people ask AIBU they are inviting judgements.

buttercup54321 · 17/06/2017 20:53

disgusting and tacky

Fanciedachange17 · 17/06/2017 20:54

Eww. Just Ewww.

Beautiful innocent babies wearing crass rubbish bought by fools (with or without degrees it would seem).

BrexitSucks · 17/06/2017 20:56

ha! I like it mildly. I love stuff in bad taste though.

CoolCarrie · 17/06/2017 21:11

I just looked on the Amazon page and I quite liked the " The fools put my cape on backwards" bib, that made me laugh, but the rest were awful, especially that blow job one.
