to still be obsessing...about a kitchen appliance?

I saw one being demo-ed in John Lewis nearly 6 years ago, but it was £400 (which I still don't really have, though I could save it up) and have been obsessed with it ever since. Every so often I google it and try to work out if it's worth buying or not. I've just caught myself looking at second hand ones on ebay and Gumtree and I am beginning to suspect I ABU. This is silly, right? A kitchen appliance is not worth 400 quid - or today's price which is more like 550 - nor is it worth drooling over. Right?

Ignore that. I woke up suddenly, read this thread again and forgot op wanted a vitamix. Thought she wanted a kithenaid. Then I realised it was me who wanted a k.a. Urgh go back to sleep, me.

I bought a refurbished one from Amazon it looked new and was guaranteed for three years not 5

I'm with you on this one OP, I too would LOVE a Vitamix.

500 odd quid for a blender I am honestly shocked!
