I just walked (15min each way) to my local Sainsburys on my own. I've never been able to do it before (I have autism) and although I hated it and it took every ounce of courage to do it, i got some cat food for Toby the cat, and a delicious chocolate sundae as a treat Smile

Congratulations, OP - I hope you'll be able to bask in that very well-deserved pride for the rest of the afternoon! Wine

Congratulations hun, I'm sure your mother is going to be over the moon! I know I am when DS does something new!

If you feel like you can't do it next week then don't push yourself and try it the week after :) you should be proud of yourself for going out today :)

Ohyesiam · 09/06/2017 22:53

Yay! That is a proper achievement. Be proud, be very proud! There is nothing quite like doing that thing that it takes all your courage to do, it means bigger horizons, more possibilities.
Go you!
Have a great weekendGrin
