He's made a mockery of the Labour Party and won votes by creating a manifesto that the country could not afford to deliver!!!

Resign JC !!!

Let's also be honest. The only reason she scraped enough to be able to join with the DUP in going to see Liz at lunchtime is Nicola Sturgeon and her threat of another referendum and Ruth Davidson being a far more competent leader than TM herself. Had the Scots' Tories not won those seats, the DUP wouldn't have been enough for TM to pull it together

TheHouseOfIllRepute · 09/06/2017 10:28

Are you TM?

Just a long as "you Tories" take note of the fact that people are no longer going to stand back and watch you fuck over the poor and vulnerable, privatise the NHS and give our hard earned money to your 5%er mates, then get on with it and you might get your majority back. Fail to learn from this and we may yet see JC as PM.

Cuppaoftea · 09/06/2017 10:30

Labour could have won last night with a different leader and shadow cabinet. He'll never win a General Election and I won't return to voting Labour until he's gone.

Corbyn is an important political voice but not a credible Prime Minister.

Icallbullshit3 · 09/06/2017 10:30

Yes YABU and if labour MPs had united properly and stopped trying to stab him in the back after he was elected as the leader for the second time, then he would probably have bloody won this election!! Have my first Biscuit

Tiredemma · 09/06/2017 10:31

He fooled all of his supporters - he knew he would never win hence creating an absurd manifesto just to win seats

you could apply this to most parties.

Chaotica · 09/06/2017 10:31

YABVU

As others have already said.

SynysterGates · 09/06/2017 10:31

Yes and remember Amber Rudd needed 3 recounts and if 50 labour supporters voted Lin Dem they would have lost Richmond too.
So not a roaring success for the Conservatives.

RedToothBrush · 09/06/2017 10:32

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

Corbyn will work out a managed succession I suspect. He's proved his point about the direct of the Left being fine. His personal impression is still an issue though. How does he cut through beyond this point is the question the Labour party should ask.

But resign now? Absolutely not.

The chances of the current government collapsing are high though. And against another leader, he will not be able to pull off the same trick. He does need to pave the way soon.

lessworriedaboutthecat · 09/06/2017 10:32

TM actually got more votes than labour in 97 who got 13,518,167.

TabascoToastie · 09/06/2017 10:33

No.

All politicians suck, and all politicians lie. We've had centuries of smarmy liars in expensive suits out for self-advancement -- why not at least try someone with a genuine social conscience, just once? Just to see what happens? He can hardly do worse than some of them!

JoanJettPack · 09/06/2017 10:33

Yabu and ridiculous.
Theresa May should resign and you should give your head a wobble.

Tippitoesandbuttonnose · 09/06/2017 10:33

I'm a young first time voter and didn't vote because JC said he'd abolish tuition fees. (I don't even go to uni so that doesn't affect me)
So you're wrong there.
I wasn't even voting on Jeremy Corben or his manifesto. I was voting with a good conscious that what TM and the conservatives want to do to working class people in this country is WRONG

Tenshidarkangel · 09/06/2017 10:34

The youth voted for him because we're fed up of the conservative cuts!! Not just the tuition fees! The police, the NHS, education, because we can't afford to buy houses!! Because we're heading to the point we have to choose between having kids or being financially stable! We are sick and tired of being unheard. So yesterday we voted and we screamed what WE, the next generation, want and I couldn't be prouder of the massive hit we have caused Mrs May and her Party.

lovelycuppateas · 09/06/2017 10:34

Really? Have another Biscuit

Holz657 · 09/06/2017 10:34

YABU he's done an amazing job. He is one of the main reasons 72% of young people like myself voted.

AllMyBestFriendsAreMetalheads · 09/06/2017 10:35

Even Nigel Evans said that the manifesto was a shambles and the reason they have lost seats.

My main question this morning is, have the people of Scotland saved the Tories? WTF kind of parallel universe is this?!

PumpkinPiloter · 09/06/2017 10:35

"The people have spoken and kept JC out. For plenty of we Tories particularly remainers it is a great day. Yes it would have been a bit easier had we 6 more seats (a majority) but I am sure we will manage. At least we've kept Labour out ."

The earth is flat I tell you!

So TM calls a snap election that know one really wanted in an act of political opportunism. They have vastly superior funds in a day and age where advertising can be extremely targeted and effective. The overwhelming majority of the press including the left do everything they can to smear him.

Yet the conservatives end up losing MP's having to go into a coalition when she did not need to call this election in the first place?

I am sorry but even the most deluded conservative voters can not dress this up as a win.

Tiredemma · 09/06/2017 10:36

Some of your JC fans seem rather happy considering he lost?

I am really happy. The increase in people turning out to vote Labour and gaining seats (whilst Tories have lost seats) has made me incredibly happy.
