He's made a mockery of the Labour Party and won votes by creating a manifesto that the country could not afford to deliver!!!

ATTENTION ALL TORIES
THESE ARE THE PEOPLE TM WILL HAVE TO STRIKE A DEAL WITH

Note the DUP sign next to the lovely picture of a paramillitary terrorist.

AIBU in thinking JC should resign?
mellowbean · 09/06/2017 14:09

TM couldn't be bothered to turn out for her own election. Arrogant shit bag! She's still not talking to the people who elected her. Power has gone to her head - no wonder Europe is riding rough shod all over us. I don't trust France at all and Germany is not much better. Is she not communicating because if she fails it can then be brushed under the carpet? Only one party cares for its people and it's not TMs.

PortiaCastis · 09/06/2017 14:12

Bleddy hell Lana wtf things seem to be getting worse don't they?

christinarossetti · 09/06/2017 14:12

A vicar once had a politician daughter,
Who had a lead of nearly a quarter,
She took the public for a fool,
And pissed it up the wall,
And now she's a lamb to the slaughter.

Dawndonnaagain · 09/06/2017 14:12

The unelectable winner of the two biggest leadership mandates in his party's history just won his ninth consecutive parliamentary election.
With a hugely increased majority and an increased parliamentary presence.

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 09/06/2017 14:13

I know Portia

That fucking disgusting picture, combined with TM's breathtakingly arrogant speech in which she refused to conceed anything at all has gone wrong for her, is rather concerning, isn't it?

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 09/06/2017 14:14

wanders off laughing Whatever you think love. (Stability my arse).

PortiaCastis · 09/06/2017 14:17

Yes Lana she's so arrogant it's untrue, if she had any dignity she'd resign to save face rather than go to bed with the DUP

Xenophile · 09/06/2017 14:17

DUP politicians believe that:

The earth is around 5k years old.

Creationism should be taught in schools in place of evolution.

Abortion is wrong for any reason.

Homosexuality is on a par with child abuse.

Same sex couples will abuse their children.

They should get "the ethnics" out.

Climate change is a lie and a con.

Being in a paramilitary group is ok, if that group wears Orange and not Green and only kills Irish people.

Which of these policies are Tories happy to include in the hope that the DUP, who will now be kingmakers, despite having fewer votes than UKIP, will continue to vote with them?

everthibkyouvebeenconned · 09/06/2017 14:19

Oh they sound fun! Very dangerous of them to expose themselves to the rest of the UK. When they fail on a bigger stage I have a feeling they will be punished at home. Perhaps it's time Labour pulled out of the agreement not to stand in NI?

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 09/06/2017 14:21

Xenophile that list is truly fucking shocking!

Embolio · 09/06/2017 14:29

Yeah be under no illusions as to the nature of the DUP.

I'm shocked that the moderate voices in NI have all gone. The politics here is now even more polarised.

Another issue is that the peace process is based on the impartiality of the uk government- there's currently no operating NI Executive and how on earth can the British Government mediate here if they are allied to the DUP?

PyongyangKipperbang · 09/06/2017 14:32

He only got those votes due to his undeliverable manifesto!

Havent RTFT but need to say that this is absolutely untrue.

Many people voted Labour because they felt it was the only viable alternative to TM. A Lib Dem vote would have been wasted, they are on a downward spiral since the coalition, so voting Labour was for many people the only other option.

JC pulled a blinder, especially considering how low in the polls they were just a couple of months ago. If another GE is called this year, and I very much hope it will be, then I suspect he would be PM.

TheNiffler · 09/06/2017 14:35

Yep, apparently it's all great. We haven't ended up with terrorist sympathisers involved in a coalition of chaos to lead us through unprecedented times as a country at all.

After all, May warned what a disaster that would be. 🙄

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 09/06/2017 14:36

Pyongyang

We've moved on to waiting for the "Corbyn is a terrorist lover" crew to come on and defend her jump into bed with the DUP.

After all, if peace talks make JC an evil man, then surely using proven terrorists to prop up your Government makes TM the epitomy of a terrorist sympathisers?

TrueColors · 09/06/2017 14:37

YANBU. He severely damaged the Labour Party credibility. I know quite a few staunch labourer supporters who were swayed because of him. This was the first time I didn't vote labour and it was only because of him.

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 09/06/2017 14:37

Grin Excellently put Niffler
Clarabumps · 09/06/2017 14:40

No fucking way should he resign.

mygorgeousmilo · 09/06/2017 14:49

Are you putting the words 'Theresa May' and 'national stability' in the same sentence, all while keeping straight face?! Shock

makeourfuture · 09/06/2017 14:50

Now this is not the end.
It is not even the beginning of the end.
But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 09/06/2017 15:04

Wow I'm really enjoying all the vocal Corbyn haters answers on the question of if JC is a terrorist sympathiser, what the fuck does that make TM now??
Hmm

Come on guys, you were all so keen to have a pop at Corbyn, what's your thoughts on the delightful, paramillitary, creationist, gay hating, anti abortion, terrorist DUP then?

Dawndonnaagain · 09/06/2017 15:05

He severely damaged the Labour Party credibility.

How did he manage that then? A ten thousand increase in his personal vote and more seats in the commons?

Manijo · 09/06/2017 15:13

You're deluded OP

Geekmama · 09/06/2017 15:31

You're being very unreasonable , Theresa May Should be resigning not Mr Corbyn.

TizzyDongue · 09/06/2017 15:39

As a person who has no input into this election (no vote) I've watched to fights going on here with interest. I'm not too sure who I'd have voted for but i can say that to say JC has 'lost' isn't right at all. He beat the odds.

You understand no one won the election OP?

JC will not need to retire because he's actually gained more support. He started off from a position where members of his own party were campaigning for seats didn't think much of him - in the small number of interviews I heard so far today all these Labour candidates have admitted they were wrong about JC. So Labour have come out a stronger party. Labour have also gained more seats, again now a stronger party. Like him or loathe him Labour is an improved more together party than they were.

I don't think May should resign either, but then again I didn't think Cameron should have either: personally I think she needs to stick around and clear up the mess she's created (though she should step down by next year) Cameron should have done the same, but he didn't; it all got dumped on May. To me it was very obvious May was chosen and put out there as the sacrifical lamb.
