For all the trumpeting about Corbyn and Labour, the actual truth is that despite increasing taxes for the top 5%, there is nothing in the Labour manifesto to tackle poverty. There is no reversal to the benefits freeze for example. Some things, such as extending PIP because of a court ruling, have been spun as a Labour move but the Tories will also abide by that decision.

The IFS has said there is no real difference between Labour and Tory levels of NHS funding.

Labour's flagship scheme basically means middle-class students will get free tuition. In fact, Labour's manifesto is geared towards giveaways to the rich, often at the direct expense of poorer people who will be subject to many higher taxes to fund them eg corporation tax for small businesses.

I'm voting Lib Dem btw.

Conservatives have made an utter hash of the last few years.

I shall vote for a candidate young enough to face the consequences of their decisions!

Do you think that rational, informed, intelligent people will vote based upon your suggestion OP?

Labour: Today hope turns to reality.
Labour: Today our economy gets back on track.
Labour: Today we begin to rebuild.
Labour: Today the people rule, not the bankers.
Labour: Today we get our country back!

So sick of people 'asking' that everyone votes this way or that. Facebook has been so full of it I will be glad when it's over. Each person has a right to vote for who they like, without having to explain their reasons!

I was going to vote Labour, but our local Labour candidate has had his law firm closed down for an investigation.

I couldn't vote for someone in this position. Thankfully it's not a marginal seat (safe Tory seat) so it won't make much difference. What a cock up.

Sigh. When do people realise that what parties say they are going to do and what actually happens are two different things?

Call me cynical, but maybe things are promised that a lot of voters would find appealing (in an ideal world which we don't live in). In order to get into power.

We have Brexit on our plates. We need a leader who can deal in a competent tenacious manner with the EU right now.

Leader - all the promises from party leaders will be at stake if we don't secure a good Brexit deal and stabilise the economy. It has to be the primary consideration. If our trade suffers greatly, there won't be as many rich to tax so where will the money come from then? In basic terms. This is no ordinary time for our country. We need a competent leader. Of the options, TM is the most competent.

Basic education really can't be very good, can it, if people are so easily led and unable to think in shades of grey? Goodies v baddies, bloody hell.
