If you wake up and are still under conservative rule?

Not goady, just genuinely interested in how you intend to make life better for yourself and those around you

Plus Corbyn won despite of a completely hostile media environment. I am very pleased and was no Corbyn fan previously. AM quite impressed by him now. grassroots, genuine alternative vision. Thanks Corbyn Thanks Thanks

Clawdy · 09/06/2017 08:35

What you said Londonlovely Smile

Cheesecake53 · 09/06/2017 08:40

Corbyn increased his majority in his constituency, too Grin .

everthibkyouvebeenconned · 09/06/2017 08:44

Not a JC supporter in anyway but voted for my brilliant Labour MP

I am just so fucking proud of our youth. Really it makes me want to cry. They have been heard and after Brexit they needed to be heard. Well done you!!!!!

Yes there will be uncertaintity but I would prefer that now than a hard brexit run by rabid RW nutjobs selling OUR country off to their mates. So any Brexiteers moaning about that just remember what you said last June. What was it... The people have spoken...its democracy....a short amount of pain for long term gain.......

ShoesHaveSouls · 09/06/2017 09:40

I'm feeling pretty good this morning, OP - how are you?

Theresa May has totally blown it - she has no mandate for a hard brexit or austerity now. So proud of our young people today. They came out and voted, they swung it.

Oh, and to the user who said 'spending benefit money in the pub' - we don't receive benefits, thanks very much, DH earns far too much. But we did spend some of his hard-earned dosh on Wine last night Wink

LadySalmakia · 09/06/2017 09:44

How's it going there OP? I think I might have a few celebratory wines, what do you think? Shame about Goldsmith but overall I'm feeling pretty happy with the way that things have gone for May this morning.

GretchenFranklin · 09/06/2017 09:50

Oh happy day!

What a mess-up May has made of everything! Oh well.

Londonlovely · 09/06/2017 09:53

"Shame about Goldsmith"

Terrible shame Sad

PortiaCastis · 09/06/2017 10:02

Wonder what Labour supporters are going to do

Erm I'm in fits of laughter

Husk · 09/06/2017 10:05

Champagne for me tonight Grin

Whatslovegottodo · 09/06/2017 10:06

As a Labour Party member I thought I would be delighted at our gains.

However the thought of a DUP Coallition and a weak TM negotiating Brexit makes me feel sick.

NoLotteryWinYet · 09/06/2017 10:20

yes, i can't believe a coalition of the conservatives and DUP with that tiny a majority can push anything serious through.

Surely at the least this pushes brexit into the long grass? There's no strong mandate for hard brexit here which means the strategy needs to be reconsidered.

'coalition of chaos' lol

Toptrumps20 · 09/06/2017 10:46

Feeling on top of the world this morning. My faith in human nature is restored somewhat. Looking forward to sitting back and watch the car crash unfold.

SynysterGates · 09/06/2017 10:47

I am happy Labour outed tory in our seat.
Yay my vote counted

Fab39ish · 09/06/2017 10:57

Mine didn't sadly but what about Richmond? If less than100 labour supporters voted Lib Dem they would have won with a similar majority to the elected Conservative.

KERALA1 · 09/06/2017 11:08

Brexit politicised the youth. Brilliant

Dandandandandandandan · 09/06/2017 11:14

Far more likely that being offered free tuition fees mobilised the youth! Corbyn is hugely to blame for the fuckup that is Brexit, because he was so sodding lukewarm and it was his labour heartlands that voted out

HS2whattodo · 09/06/2017 11:21

Cheesecake-Diane Abbott increased hers by 10,000. It seems the public don't like people being victimised by the press and in particular Murdoch.

CleopatraTheCatLover · 09/06/2017 11:39

Turned out better than I expected Smile

everthibkyouvebeenconned · 09/06/2017 11:42

Interesting that its all Corbyns fault..hhmmm the Tories called the referendum. The Tories called this election

Hate to say the young voted for what they thought was best for their country.

NameChanger22 · 09/06/2017 12:03

I was quite happy for about an hour this morning, until I read up on the DUP. Now I'm even more scared and troubled than I was before. The country is still fucked.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 09/06/2017 12:04

They have a 7 seat majority. The Tories are still fucked tbh.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 09/06/2017 12:05

And so is May
