...on this grey Monday?? (well - its grey and bloody miserable up here anyway!) .... not writing anything much here as don't want to influence guesses.

I'm 5ft10

V bored perma-breastfeeding, so hoping this will provide a lighthearted distraction.

Sparkle Honestly I didn't notice any of the 'imperfections' you've listed, short torso etc. You're over critiquing yourself, like most of us do.
You have a fantastic shape. Embrace it, norks and all Grin it doesn't get better than this at 21, I'm nearly 50yrs old so I know a bit of what I'm talking about.

Iamastonished · 05/06/2017 14:19

Wow Sparkle you have a fantastic figure.

I look more like this

It isn't me as I don't want to post a picture of myself, and have never taken a selfie in my life. My problem is I have a long thin face and trying to lose weight off my hips and thighs without losing weight anywhere else is nigh on impossible. I have reached the age where it is either my face or the rest of me and I don't want to look any more haggard.

NorfolkingTime · 05/06/2017 14:39

Amateur thank you - I just wish the love handles weren't quite so big! I think that picture has highlighted what an awful fit my bra is though...

Sparkle you have a really lovely figure.

hmcAsWas · 05/06/2017 15:45

*Sparklefloof" as an old gimmer I look back at photos of my twenty something self and marvel at what a fantastic figure I had, without realising it (and in fact I was dissatisfied with how I looked). Honestly you will do the same - you'll look back in a few years time and kick yourself for not realising what amazing shape you were in your twenties.

Don't wait until then to realise how much you had it all together back then - believe us now when we tell you that you have a body that many women would love to have. Appreciate it whilst you 've got it

hmcAsWas · 05/06/2017 15:46

Oops - bold typeface fail

Backt0Black · 05/06/2017 16:29

....sorry I'm back... nipped to the gym and am back on BF'ing now... so again apols for brevity and spelling. (one handed typing)

Sparkle you look great, your overall aesthetics are lovely, don't mess with yourself!

Feel like I've answered that further up. But in short no, I was horrified at finding I weigh 12st.

Yes, those with a higher muscle mass weigh much heavier.

You definitely have a higher muscle mass.

Rufus27 · 05/06/2017 16:52

OP thank you for this. I am slightly shorter but similar build and often question why I weigh so much more than the celebs (allegedly) weigh. I do think our lean but muscular frames weigh more due to the higher muscle mass.

AmateurSwami · 05/06/2017 18:32

sparkle also a complete killer figure.

Omg are we all more gorgeous than we realise?!

BlondeB83 · 05/06/2017 18:37

10 stone I think, maybe just over.

BlondeB83 · 05/06/2017 18:38

Oooh just realised you had answered. Don't worry OP! It's your height and muscle mass.

user1496683604 · 05/06/2017 18:39

You look good to me whatever your weight

ShowOfHands · 05/06/2017 18:46

I weigh 8 stone 5lbs and have a figure very similar to yours op BUT I'm 5ft 3" and have 28E breasts so I reckon you are heavier solely due to height and bfing.

I don't give a shite what the scales say though. I'm strong and fit 💪

nannybeach · 05/06/2017 19:15

depends how tall you are but guessing 8.5 stone, do we get a prize?

NoodleNinja · 05/06/2017 19:21

I look like a potato with good hair.

I am ill at this thread. I want one of thooooooose bodies weeps

SylvesterTheCat · 05/06/2017 19:26

Wow you look amazing and I think I hate you.

Anyone else feeling a bit shit about their own bodies after reading this thread?

Jayfee · 05/06/2017 19:28

i thought 11 st 3...see you are 12 but muscle weighs more than fat. you have a good body

Acornantics · 05/06/2017 19:31

I'm 5ft 11 and 12 stone but unlike your good self, my abs are cosseted by an unctuous layer of flab and my thighs are of pear proportions.

You've inspired me to ditch the sugar and wine, and get rid of the padding!

MetalMidget · 05/06/2017 19:32

but still..... weighing the same as husband... harumpff

Pfft, try weighing the same as your husband when he's nearly a foot and a half taller than you! -_-

Although I'm now a couple of stone lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight. We don't discuss the peak pregnancy weight I stopped weighing once I got to 16 stone....

My stomach looks like a deflated balloon, my 10 mo likes to squish it.

I look like a potato with good hair.

I don't have good hair. :(

EveningShadows · 05/06/2017 19:32

Yes Sylvester - feeling very shit.

Is that what the OP was intending as can't think of any other reason for this thread Confused

KatoPotato · 05/06/2017 19:40

So you go to the gym and have a very precise split routine yet still care about the 'numbers on the scale?' And you talk macros but still seem incredulous about your weight?

When I started lifting weights, I stopped weighing myself... your trainer should be ashamed

lljkk · 05/06/2017 19:43

I'm surprised by OP's 12 stone b/c I am 2 inches shorter at about 10 stone. I'm built like NorfolkingTime in spite of 2 hours of exercise a day, but OP is a LOT more toned than me. I was guessing 64 kg. Makes me clueless where her extra 2 stone went.

Sparklefoof: this is probably wrong thing to say but what the heck You are stacked. At least your extra is put to good purpose. :)
